I was catching up with some of last season's anime, but as it turns out, Chaika never actually had a second season. I was wondering if it would show any improvement from the mediocre first season, but I guess I'll never know now.

She's okay, she has eyebrow game too, but those aren't enough to make up for how terrible that second season that never happened might have been if it actually did happen.

I mean, I watched Tokyo Ghoul and it feels even more rushed than that did, so yeah. Either that or just **** writing, it's hard to tell with this show tbh, but either way, the result is comparable...

Eh, at least Chaika didn't have this assclown in it.

I haven't watched Tokyo Ghoul but when Chaika S2 aired some people who could read Japanese told the people that watched the show that they didn't just skip and rush through the second season, they also completely changed events in the story.

Vagabond is like... manga that's told through the art rather than the dialogue.

The real issue I think here is that Chewin is still at a younger form, or stage I should say, of Musashi.

 

Not the youngest stage but still a young one.

 

Musashi grows a lot in this series.

 

It's why this manga is best on a second read. When you have more awareness of what things lead to. Sure the series starts out simple but it has huge character development.

 

So with that and saying once more.

 

Vagabond is one of the best manga series ever.

 

I say keep with it Chewin.

Season 1 was a bit of a mess. Everyone was all over the place. 

 

- Caster and his master torturing kids.

- Archer beign the lazy bun that he is doing nothing, sitting on his ass all day talking about how powerful he is. He did pwn Assassin tho.

- Kiritsugu doing....something? I dont even remember anymore what exactly he was doing in season 1.

- The guy with the worms and his father. Doing something.

- Rider's master showing him around the city doing stuff.

 

Eventually the main focus became Caster as the villain, but that was near the end. The first episodes really dragged things out. Oh and there was this romance/respect thing going on between Saber and Lancer.

 

Saber vs. Lancer fight was GLORIOUS

Everything with Rider is GLORIOUS

 

The crazy clusterf**** when 6 servants were all in one place??? Priceless!

Those two episodes alone are worth gold.

I would give my left AND right arm for an episode where Archer reveals his identity in front of everyone and fighters several other servants at the same time, then does UBW and wastes Gilgamesh.

Chaika season 1 was ok but season 2 was just a clusterfuck, the final episode was really really really bad.
