Sometimes the surprises are on par with getting a new puppy and at other times the surprises are more in line with finding a dead body, but whatever the case the surprises are always neat and exciting.
This thread is truly the best that the forums have to offer and it always keeps me coming back for more.

I do like that despite Rin being so calculative and always thinking two steps ahead, she has a tendency to make rookie mistakes from time to time, which can be seen with both Shinji and Caster. Goes to show that she has a habit of making things too complicated than what they appear, which is an aspect I quite enjoy.

Nah, watched it all. Only got good at the last 6 episodes. Dragged on though.
Very 'eh.' Tanaka dropped the ball here if he wanted something close to LOTGH (since it does resemble it somewhat.)
If you ever get to it, you'll see.
Only good thing about it was "Tytania" meaning, the Clan Lords that run the Oligarchy.
In good ol' Tanaka fashion they were fleshed out human beings unlike what everybody else seemed to think they were.
And Fan Hyulick is nothing like Yang.
Duke Jouslain Tytania is the real star of the show.
Perhaps if I hadn't watched LOTGH, Tytania might have felt better. Since it really isn't a terrible anime, it just pales in comparison to LOTGH and it's an insult to LOTGH to even say that Tytania is its "younger brother." If so, it's his "baby brother" more like.
P.S
A crappy romance too to boot.
At least it serves some later purpose for character development.
But it's so contrived it's cringy.
And the romance is terrible... did I mention that?

That's the general idea, but you can't really trust any "statements" made until the show it done.

Like Liam said, they're apparently making them "closer" to the Light Novels. So whether that's a good thing or bad thing, it remains to be seen. Tanaka's other works haven't impressed me so far, though to be fair, Arslan Senki's anime adaptation was probably way off (since the manga is far superior) and Tytania is so underwhelming it's like being invited to a threesome only to be greeted by two chickens and a duck.
The show is as good as it can be, if they can replicate that and errr... mend a few errors, then that'd be great.

Dunno how they're gonna handle the visuals though. I think LOTGH is really impressive for a 110ep series. I know they remastered it though, since the original doesn't look that good at all.
80's show tho'
Oh and accurate
Seriously, if you want to watch a series about a rebellion vs an oppressive government then watch Code Geass, even if R2 is not as good as R1 by a large margin, it's still better than Tytania.
But nothing beats Fan Hyulick's theme.

All stuff is remastered, so yeah.
Howeveerrrr.....
Kissanime really done fucked up with LOTGH.
Some of the streams glitch out so the subs don't even show up.
Better go watch it somewhere else.... which sucks.... cos Kissanime is freaking awesome.

If that's the site I gave you (because for some reason it doesn't open on Firefox) with the prequels then...
It should do.
If all else fails I can just send you the files since I downloaded it. Don't know if you made an account of Kissanime, but 1Kpoint = 1 episode and I have like 300 now (would've have had tons more if I didn't download stuff from it.)
The downloads don't have a problem but the streams do.
Still... all that is too much hassle so I'd just go for GOGOAnime which is a decent but not as HD as kissanime.

So guys and gals, do you prefer the Fate/Stay Night remake or the original adaptation overall? I haven't watched the first anime and want to know if it's worth my time going back to.
