If it's been done.
Gintama will take the p*ss out of it.
I like how the blue spikey haired samurai gus has the same voice as Roronoa Zoro -- Their disposition seems kinda similar.
I also have no idea what is going on, but I'm enjoying it.

Well if you do keep it up I'll be looking forward to when you reach the serious arcs.
Believe it or not.
Gintama has a pretty bad-ass plot behind all that funny stuff.

And Gintoki is a pretty damn awesome character once you know all his story.
But eh.
Enjoy the funny stuff for now.
The backstory is particular is dark as ****.

You haven't seen sh*t.
Where the manga is now...
Just damn.
I am so scared of reaching that moment.
Ok, so I've got the following "must see" animes on my list:
Gintama
LotGH
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Am I missing anything else major?
Have you watched Puella magi madoka magica yet?
Also, sim, which is superior: LotGH or Gintama?
Aaaand Sim's head just went pop.

LotGH

Does this answer your question lol.

It's pretty much initiation here to watch PMMM
So Ouran Host Club.
These goofballs are a riot.
Congrats. You now have over 200 episodes of awesome left.
Four devas arc yo.

It's impossible to compare them.
So it really comes down to what you prefer.
A 110 episode Space Opera about politics and war.
Or a 265 episode Shounen with just about anything you can think of.
However, just to let you know.
LOTGH is 110 episodes of pure unadulterated narrative whilst Gintama's "main plot" is separated between tons of funny one-shot episodes and comedy arcs.
There's literally an 8 episode arc about fan-club wars over otaku stuff.
I would say after Yoshiwara arc, Gintama has a more clear "storyline", not that the one shot gag episodes are gone for good, but future arcs are alot more focused on the overall issues which all led to the previous epic arc in the manga that finished alot of personal fights and pretty much has set up something big.
Plus the second movie it self is pretty much just one epic story.

Yeah pretty much this.
I seriously don't know how Gintama will return to being a gag manga atm.
Methinks it'll just have a mix of the two since the last chapter had "hard-boiled" dude lighting things up a bit.

Too hard-boiled for me.

lol One Piece has Jurassic Park.
The first third of Ergo Proxy has been above expectations and hopefully it will manage to keep this quality for most of the episodes. Expecting it to drop once or twice at least but I'm cool with that.
Watamote on the other hand is both fun, sad and makes me cringe in how insanely awkward the protagonist actually is!

With Watamote, it's like you're laughing at your own pain.
Sounds lovely.

Well, to be entirely honest, you have to stoop pretty hard into the nerd world to FULLY associate yourself with her.
She's pretty much at the precipices before "beyond hope."
But I think anybody who's classed as a nerd can relate in some way or another.
With Watamote, it's like you're laughing at your own pain.
Haha it sure is!
It's like I'm feeling pain for her sake aswell. She do have a few traits that I could understand or relate to but the entire package with her is.. awkward and a bit painful. She's amazing at insults but when she tried to crack a dirty joke it was a miracle that I actually didn't die on the spot.

She is indeed lewd.
I would love to have a conversation with her.
About lewd.
