I'll have you know that this may not have been the biggest screw up committed today. 

 

Earlier today, I went out of town with some friends and we stopped at a small chain of stores (same business, but are exclusive to a specific area, if I revealed the name it would give away my location) anyway, this store chain had movies and video games from NES to Sega Genesis to Current Gen. 

 

Anyway, behind the counter they had Spice and Wolf on DVD. 

 

I really wanted it, but I'm pretty low on money, so I decided not to get it. 

 

I've been beating myself up all day over it.

 

I keep trying to reassure myself by thinking that the DVD probably didn't contain a whole season. 

 

Probably being the key word.

Anyway, up to 183 chapters of Vagabond and things are taking a very interesting turn in terms of character development for Musashi.

 

 

This is what I have been waiting for from the very beginning of the story. Miyamoto Musashi--while most popularly known as a renowned swordsman--was also a quite a philosopher and a lot of his teachings surrounding on swordsmanship and martial arts where also studies on human knowledge, reality and existence. The Book of Five Rings is an intriguing read, and experiencing first hand how Musashi gradually develops as a character and imprints all of his experiences into his philosophy in this fictionalized tale is something that I have desperately been wanting to read, and this seems to be the first steps into it becoming a reality.

 

Looking forward to how it'll develop.
