Because DEENs "adaption" of the Fate route is complete and utter ****, art, writing, clumsy incorporation of elements from the other two routes and character portrayals.

Good for you. It's not as bad as the general consensus people have of it and I prefer the anime over the VN, which I argue is better despite being a poor amalgamation. Of course that is not that much of a far cry. I find the Fate route to be generally sh*t to begin with.
