I'll leave this here as well because the hell, why not-
Bad news regarding Monty Oum(creator of RWBY). He's been seriously hospitalized. No details as to what exactly happened, but he's currently unresponsive and they don't know if he'll make it.

1. As I said, poor amalgamation. The anime sure has its problems, but since I judge them individually the anime gets more points in my book, simply b/c it manages to capture fundamental aspects like themes and characters well enough to complement the story (albeit loosely at certain points).
2. The VN is meant to be experienced by reading all three routes to fully grasp everything that it touches upon, but I'm personally not a fan of such a method and I don't think removing core aspects within a narrative and simply label something as "read / watch the next entry to get further exposition on this matter" as a justification. If a character is missing vital characterization, or a narrative thread is unexplained within the narrative, then that is bad writing. I'm not experienced with VN, so maybe this is a norm with entries that have multiple paths which requires one to experience all paths to make the story "whole", though I don't judge individual stories that way.
1. Maybe so but I'm sure there were other ways to do that without taking content out of other routes.
2. I don't think that is a bad thing though. I can not see any way FSN could ever work as a story where all the 3 routes are combined. It's a very solid VN and yes you need to read all the routes to get as much out of it as possible but that is the case with a lot of VN's (not just FSN).
Of course making a good adaptation from a single route from a VN is always going to be very difficult. I do think that the UBW route is a good route and will be able to stand on it's own if Nasu continues to add some original scenes here and there.

Oh. That's a shame.
Definitely.
Probably to cover how defenseless it is.

Yeah, and as we've seen so far Nasi has added new scenes which really complements it. If they add a tiny bit more characterisation on Saber's part to make the transaction from Zero stand out, then I will be more than pleased.

Could be worse, Tsukihime barely gives you any big info in the first two routes XD

Oh. That's a shame.
I've donated, donations are coming in droves, but who knows what'll happen.
I hope he makes it(obviously). Whatever happened, we need to pull for him. Not even for RWBY, just for him and his family.

If they really want this to be a sequel to FZ then they need to give Saber's arc a satisfying conclusion.
I hope they also will give Kuzuki his backstory in S2.

True.
I remember going through akiha's route for the first time and just being surprised at how different the whole route was.

Cheers for donating(when you do).
I hope we don't lose Monty. I mean, I don't even need to say that, but it feels better to put it out there.
And MAJOR props to the internet. Nobody's doing/saying anything stupid regarding it as far as I know. Its all support.

Considering one reason why Nasu jumped with the project to make new scenes as a better way to fill certain spaces and act as a sequel to F/Z in a stronger manner than the VN, I expect this to be the case.
Ah well, we'll know soon enough.

Crazy good episode from Death Parade this week. Really, really happy I decided that I had the time to pick one more show up to follow. So far been very worth it and I'm so looking forward to more!

Hopefully it stays that way, the internet can be really hit and miss in that sense but I'm glad to hear it has been that way so far. Even if you're not a fan of the show it's still a shame when a decent person does have something happen to them.
And yeah, considering how much money I've spent on junk I really don't need lately I think the least I can do is throw a bit over his way in the hopes it will actually help a bit. I like to support series I like and I can't think of a better way to support one then this..

That is my one gripe about UBW so far.
Not enough Saber.

RWBY brought and is bringing loads together. Thats all because of Monty's vision. Anime loves him for it.

Pff, the only flaw with UBW is obviously that Caster isn't getting more screentime.

Yes. Your treasured Elf caster.

With Sim gone there's nothing standing in your love now.

Well it is pretty much a cult classic. It's in a good position where it's not too popular that it let's it go to it's head but it's just popular enough to get a lot of recognition and it has a lot of passionate fans.(IMO the perfect balance)RWBY brought and is bringing loads together. This year if I go to the anime convention again I'll have to make sure to take some photos for you since it was one of the most cosplayed series there after SnK last year. Still not sure if I'll go this year since I was sort of let down by the vendors last time. As much as I like SnK it's lame when you get like 30 different vendors selling the exact same stuff for just one over popular series. If I did go it would probably just be for the artists alley.

Cheers to that.
By the way, over 2.7K people have already raised over $70,000 for Monty's family to take care of the medical bills and other such funds
Thats a lot of anime fans coming together all of a sudden for a content creator. I'm proud.
