I have a nasty habit of it, Steins;Gate, Fullmetal Alchemist, portions of One Piece (because who can seriously binge that entire behemoth), GoT, Firefly, Vikings, True Detective, the list is long

I just watched all of Steins;Gate in less than a week

 

I really need to stop binging

 

That's not too bad. It's not a super long series or anything, but I get what you mean if you do that week after week.

Not of the ending no. Most of the rest of it was fine, with the middle being amazing.

 

I'll keep this short since I've already gone on a few long rants about it before here

Thought the characterization in the climax went to complete **** (Shouichi in particular was just terrible) and it pissed me off how people just started remembering things they shouldn't have because PLOT, it felt incredibly weak and cheap in an otherwise smart and well thought out series, also the entire last 1/3 of the series focusing on the protagonist going on dates with the side characters was just a giant meh after such an emotional and engaging middle.

 

Only thing I thought was sort of neat about the ending was how he essentially was trying to trick the timelines into lining up in a way

I didn't mind the ending at all, but I've gotten enough of the "do they remember what I do", Chuck in particular burned me out on that, I like the straightforwardness

Fair enough. I think I'm in the vast minority in this case compared to most people anyways, I just didn't feel like it fit with the first 2/3 well.

It was voted to the #1 anime on there above FMA:B and a bunch of other ones. Most of the comments were going on about what a flawless masterpiece it was. It's one case where expectations kind of ruined it for me.

I've never seen S/G, but I'm willing to guess that When They Cry >. Higurashi is based thing.

Finished the second volume of F/A, mother of god that massive battle between all the forces of red camp and black camp along with that ending.  Man I doubt this would ever get animated now after that battle, even Ufotables Unlimited Budget Works would have issues.

 

And of course sim would have a nerdgasim for this battle.

Actually I'd say 999/VLR pretty much blow the S;G anime clear out of the water in terms of story in just about every aspect as well so that didn't help matters.
