I'd never read manga until I started reading WataMote, but I have to agree with you that manga is great (I'm proud that I knew to read right to left before I started XD). The shading is just so perfect, unbelievably so!
I would have never imagined that something could have looked so great in just Black, Grey and White before.
Here, have another funny panel ![]()

She absolutely got a way with words!

I was actually more saying that the art itself is a lower quality than I'm used to.
Makes up for it in story though.
Relevant.

I had considered that you might have meant it like that, but I decided that you might have meant it the other way
I think it works for this specific manga though, because a lot of time is spent revisiting old locations (new locations are pretty rare because of her personality). If I was doing the art (and could draw well, LOL) I wouldn't see much point in making it extraordinarily detailed. The characters have the level of detail they need to in my opinion and like you said the story makes up for it; those are the two things that really sells me on WataMote, the characters and story.
I can't wait to get to the higher quality manga art tho. ![]()
I truly do enjoy the shading and not having to worry about wondering what went through the artists head when they chose the colors for scenes. I find it pretty hard to argue when they only use Grey, White and Black
So, as a question then, what do you plan to read next?

Vagabond, It sounds interesting and it will be nice to be able to have something that I can discuss with Chewin (don't really have a lot of common anime).
What do you recommend?

I'd say that's a good choice, haven't read it myself, but from what I've seen it's good.
I personally haven't read much, but I'd recommend Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou(bad idea to read at work, very funny), Franken Fran(very gory, very funny), and Akame ga Kill (way better than the anime), and Citrus

I see nothing wrong.
Liam, you should suggest your Yuri too!

I've added them to the list, so I'll check them out at some point in the future.
I'll probably start with Franken Fran, I remember you talking about it a while back.
Also, do you have a MAL http://myanimelist.n...list/greenvroom
or Hummingbird https://hummingbird....omVroom/library? ![]()

This.

Also Neptunia and Senran Kagura counts too.
I do not have either.
I suppose...
Also yes, watch Neptunia anime, going to rewatch it myself after I am done with Spice and Wolf.
Easy, quick way to start hearing sucking sounds from your wallet.
Hay anyone know the name of this Manga?
it had a kid who ate monsters and had a tint Elephant for a pet.
It was extremely disappointing compared to the VN, same with the Grisaia no Kajitsu anime.
Don't know about S;G but yes Grisaia no Kajitsu's anime was really lacking.
Finished the second volume of F/A, mother of god that massive battle between all the forces of red camp and black camp along with that ending. Man I doubt this would ever get animated now after that battle, even Ufotables Unlimited Budget Works would have issues.
And of course sim would have a nerdgasim for this battle.
Just to be sure, Volume 1 and 2 are the only fully translated Volumes right?
Blame Liam, he worked really hard getting it for me.
Sachi's cute.
Be sure to get every ending.
For story reasons of course!
NOOOOO DON'T VIEW THE BAD ENDINGS!!!
In all seriousness, Amane's bad ending actually is somewhat interesting and Yumiko's isn't really bad.

I'm not stupid!
Also I'm the type to get the good ending, read the bad ending's summary, and move on.
I hold steadfast in my attempts to not get the Conquest route in Rebirth 2.

Yup, the prologue for volume 3 is translated but that's it. After how Volume 2 ended I don't even know where this will go now. ALOT happens.

Damn my gaming completionist OCD that will force me to get the conquest ending just for completionists sake.

True. Entirely for
Bad endings build character.
Still painful to go through though.
