Now that I think about it, are there any anime based off of World War Two that are any good, or for the least part kind of historically accurate? Never hear about anything of the sort, so I'm doubtful.

Well, there's this ooollldd manga set in WW2's time.
It's very old and done by a legendary mangaka who died by overworking himself (yeah, being a mangaka is really hard.)
"First published in 1983 by Shogakukan, it is the story of three individuals named Adolf: a Jewish boy living in Japan, a half-Japanese/half- German boy, and the leader of Nazi Germany.
The first two hold a secret about the last, a secret which could affect the course of the war."
Not read it myself, but Adolf ni Tsugu is one of the first things Geth recommended to me.
And despite being from the seventh hell, Geth has very good taste.

Not sure if there's an anime though.
But if you like stuff like history and WW2 shtuff then why don't you watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes?

Yeah it does.
But I didn't bother because well...
Manga is quicker to get through (hence why I'm reading One Piece instead of watching it.)
Not sure how it holds up with the manga tho'

Reminds me too much of Vinland saga where every meathead is screaming for fights when Vinland saga isn't about fighting.
It's made abundantly clear after "Act 1" that it's not a manga about war and conquest.... at least not in the sense of Thorfinn (the main character) killing things and stuff.

Like, I love the action too, but it's pretty annoying when there's so many awesome things about Kingdom but all somebody can enjoy are the fights.
Which is fine.
But don't p*ss on the other stuff too :-(
