Done with Shiki and came to appreciate it a great deal and that despite its numerous flaws. For being about vampires it was made interesting by great characterization on both sides of the conflict which I would say is the shows greatest strength. There are plenty of characters and while the majority of them will be forgotten 5 sec after they leave the screen they still serve the purpose of making the setting feel more alive. It's the minority of fleshed our characters that drive things forward and they exist on both sides. Art and animation are not remarkable but they are not terrible either. Soundtrack is rather solid with a few tracks that over the course of 22 episodes become memorable and they do mostly fit the show. It start of a bit slow which is a shame but not surprising

 

Always fun to find quite flawed shows and just.. have a bloody good time watching them!
