So....who here likes Free! unironically? Story is meh, and the main cast serve mainly as fanservice, but there's something about the water animation and that Middle East segment at the end; wish that was the series honestly.

 

Also saw NGE and EoE, fascinating in a morbid kinda way.

The Tatami Galaxy is one very special show. It got a very unique artstyle that could achieve many things, both for comedic effect and to strengthen the point the show was trying to make. The show handle time lops in decent enough manner but that doesn't save it from becoming a little bit boring every now and then since the episode do become very predictable even if each episode is unique. The show reference earlier episodes all the time and that's how the characters in the show grow because we do get to learn new things about them and towards the end the antagonist of the show look not even close to what he did for most of the show.

 

It's an odd show that really wasn't my cup of tea but it's easy to see that it's a solid show if one come to like what it's trying to do.
