New One Piece chapter was great.

If you'd told me a year ago that Brownbeard would contain two of the most emotional moments of the upcoming arc, I would have laughed in your face.  

Yet here we are.

That punch at the end of the chapter was SO satisfying. Luffy's face at the end, he looked so pissed. What makes it so sweet that it wasn't his usual mindless anger. It was cold, calm, righteous rage. He calmly listened to what Caeser had to say and then unleashed his fury very deliberately. It makes it ten times more satisfying.

Actually, now that I took another glimpse I see why I started watching it. It's a fun and colorful show with an original and surprising twist to the fantasy. You could try it for a care-free fantasy one.

Ha! Reminded me of this for some reason. And of a parody cover of it (from the country I live in).

Hmm. Going against the grain with a slow/dreamy opening - japanese TV-psychologists would recommend the other way around. The song itself is as good as ever.

Those arabic fandoms are really something. They get a bit confused though. Just watched a touching vid about motherly love with pics depicting Nagisa and Ushio and stuff. And among those there was this one where Kurapika pats Killua.

I haven't read the whole of the manga, but I'm pretty sure Kurapika isn't Killua's loving mother.

Luffy punching a-holes is one of the reasons the series is so great.

To think I once doubted Caesar as a villain.
I mean, my goodness.

People might say he's "cartoonishly evil", and lament that his motivation is just an arrogant egotrip. Pish tosh, I say he's absurdly entertaining, and I'd much rather have him than some Naruto style "Deep" or redeemable villain.

One Piece has a crap load of morally grey antagonists so it's refreshing to see a devious unrepentant b@st@rd like Caesar once in a while. Seriously the guy gives children addictive drugs in the shape of candy just so that he'll have extra test subjects, kills his own goons, plus he hilariously lies like there's no tomorrow like with Brownbeard, and the children.

My problem with Naruto Villains is that almost everyone has a sob story with some being non sensical(Shisui, Nagato, Obito, Kabuto). Orochimaru who's supposed to be the verse's equivalent of J.Mengele has one too. Now that i think about it if the verse had psychiatrists then none of the shenanigans with Orochimaru, Akatsuki, Obito, and Madara would've happened.

One Piece has morally grey antagonists? Gin maybe, but he was eons ago. I guess Smoker, Kizaru and Magellan fit as well. But I do agree it's refreshing to see such an evil a-hole as villain. Last one we had was Spandam, and I hate Spandam with all of my being. I say it is good writing when we do hate someone we are supposed to hate.

Best bad guy in Naruto is Deidara, and I still hate how he was killed off.

There's also Akainu even though he's a hard liner, Aokiji, Sengoku, Garp, half of the Supernovas, Kuma, Mihawk, and water. True on Spandem by all accounts he should be dead. Hodi and his gang had potential but the steroid angle kind of ruined them for me. So far Doflamingo is shaping up to be a potential epic fight.
