Since I posted earlier, I feel compelled to give you all an update. Just finished Psycho Pass season 1 and all I can say is that I'm very much looking forward to the English bluray release of season 2. Hopefully it continues being very good.

Now to start the English bluray of ACMI season 1. I know, I know, I already watched it with subtitles when it aired, and it's fairly generic, but I enjoyed it.

Season 2 isn't as good as the first but it's not bad or anything like that, it just suffer from a lack of a few amazing characters and the characters that take their place are quite a bit weaker.

I just enjoy (for the most part) anime I can watch instead of read. Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of anime I watch subtitled, I just like to buy the English-dubbed versions of the shows I enjoy to support the industry in the US. But yeah, slightly bummed to hear season 2 isn't quite as good as the first (unlike, say, Spice and Wolf) and that movie trailer looks very slick!

Also, I would totally spoon Koumagi.

Berserker is supposed to be Hercules. Someone known for incredible, impossible strength in life. So, as a servant AND a berserker class, his strength should be off the charts.

Yet it doesn't feel like it. Other servants block his blows easily enough. When fighting them, it doesn't really seem like he's that much stronger, especially given his body size. SABER blocks his strikes. And saber is a short girl, who in life was  normal human, never known for strength.

I just expected Beserkers incredible strength advantage to show more

The only reason she can somewhat hold her own in the UBW route/UBW anime is because of where they fight. In a graveyard Saber can use the terrain as her advantage. If it wasn't for Archer helping her out she would have been fucked up by berserker. In the Fate route Saber attacks Archer and because of that he can't help her out and she had to fight Berserker on the same place where they met and she royally gets her ass kicked in that scenario. Berserker is the only servant who even manages to break out of Enkidu and the only reason Gil has such an easy time with him is because he doesn't just aim at Berserker but also at Illya so Berserker has to defend her too. I wouldn't call Saber just a normal girl since she is age immortal and has a dragon in her body.

Also, on a unrelated note, I realize I really love reveals in stories. Whenever there's a mistery or consipiracy or secret, I love it when it's revealed. And not just a small reveal - often just the hero find out.

No, I love it when they are grand. When everyone finds out.

 

Which is why I fantasize about Archer revealing his identity in front of everyone (all servants and masters gathered for one reason or another), and then fighting. Lots of good fighting.

Same for Log Horizon. I would really want for everything the "Villan with the Glasses" found out to be revealed to everyone (including the People of the Land). And I mean EVERYTHING - including where adventurers come from, etc...
