hey, at least it ain't crank 2. lel
At least I could sit through Crank 2 ![]()
Ok. That is more doable. Everything in the Anime then is good up to that point?
It lacks the presence of the manga, but yes, I believe so.
I mean, the manga is somehow more cinematic(is cinematic the right word?) than the anime, and because you read it instead of watch it, it has better pacing.

I have always found the actual Anime to have better pacing from the stuff I have read while the manga takes longer to get a point across.
I suppose some of that may attribute to my reading speed, but Akame ga Kill manga doesn't like to dick around, it gets to the point, it's a battle manga, it knows what you're here for and it doesn't hesitate to give it to you.
It might tease you with future fights, but it will do it during fights that are already happening.

Hmm. I see. I'll think about it, but I have to get going now. Work and all. good night everyone.
She's all yours!
I'll be sitting in camp Caster
Vroom Vroom prefers Rin because of her various facial expressions, there are so many! Vroom Vroom can't decide if her defenseless anus is a plus or not though, because it's too easy for Mr. No Touch. ![]()

Caster looks beautiful, but I've never seen anything above her nose and I don't like going in blind
She has Elf ears.
@Vroom & Chewin
Sorry that came out wrong. It's not your guys fault at all. I figured I would try and go into each series to talk about what I liked about each one and what ended up happening was I set out to write like 15 book posts at once and it was just too much. As much as I enjoy gushing about something I like that was far too much of a good thing for me ![]()
Also in regards to your question Vroom I do include both Clannad and After Story as part of it since Clannad is what built things up and made you initially attached to the story, After Story is just what took what had previously been established and showed us what it was capable of doing. On that note I should say I've only seen season 1 for Psycho Pass as well (non-extended edition) so for that series I'm only basing that on season 1.
I would totally recommend Baccano Chewin. Also it's very unique for the dub > sub (and for other reasons too) only 13 episode too! Plus 3 extra episodes.
Well this long weekend is over for me.. Time to sleep. I have to be up for work in 4 1/2 hours so... ![]()
Casca gif!

The Akame manga is by far better than the miserable trainwreck that was the anime, it's not even remotly close

She can suck peoples life energy. I'm all about learning that aswell! She can probably use that to enhance herself, there's just too much going right here. ALL ABOUT THE POWAH!
This Kyon looks like he could be any anime male protagonist. I get similar vibes to that Trigger anime I couldn't be bothered to watch even though it came after KlK.
Oh yeah, did anyone finish that? Was it worth it?
Inou-Battle?
It was mediocre for the first half and directly bad during the second half.
Casca gif!
Say, which anime is this? ![]()

Honestly I really liked it at first. I always wanted a show where people get superpowers and just live their lives as normal. It then killed itself when it got needlessly serious in the second half.

Yupp, if it had kept building on the silly super power thing and just gone more in that direction it could've been pretty decent. Same second the serious elements got involved it was just meeeeeeeh
Say, which anime is this?
Berserk anime.
Reverse Google search
Berserk anime.

Oooh I see.
Well I got Beserk on my list for quite a long time now, beter watch that after Wolf's Rain then.

I liked the whole dealing with growing up with powers serious stuff. The fairy war and harem can go die in a hole though.

Well, according to the many, many, many gushers of Berserk on this thread. Don't watch the Berserk anime, read the manga.

It's funny how many people see it as "awesome" and praise it to the heavens.
But then again... many people like sh*tty anime.
F*ck.
No wonder anime's got a bad name xD

Yeah.
Unlike Nausicaa the movies are a kind of little treat for after you watch the vastly superior manga.
Also the movies f*cked up at the end with turning rape into sex.
So when you do read the manga, and want more Berserk, watch the movies/anime.
Can't talk for the series, but the movies are OKAY. They aren't great, but they ain't terribad either.
Lots of people are put off with the art and I get that. It's way too clean and polished for Berserk.
Oh... you have amazing fight scenes too and this.

This is always good.
P.S
If you ever want to do Nausicaa then do it in this order...
Movie
AND THEN MANGA.
The movie, compared to the manga, is so terrible, that you won't get to appreciate it.
That's cos Miyazaki wasn't finished with the manga when he did the movie so... yeah.
Manga is around 700+ pages for Volume 1 and 2... the movie ends at around page 300 of volume 1.
Okay just thought I'd ask a few people here a question I've got.
I've been watching Black Lagoon and I'm now on Roberta's Blood Trail but I haven't been able to find an english dub. Does anyone here know if a dubbed version has been released and if so do you know where I could watch it?
Preferably without paying anything ![]()
