Code Geass writing takes a dump in Season 2 (the writers were literally making things up as they go), but its entertainment value is really high.

Well couldn't really ask him much b/c fear of spoilers, but he found the show to be too melodramatic for his taste, and its intrigues rather 'meh'. Plus he didn't enjoy the mecha aspects, which I believe contributed to his lack of enjoyment.

Almost tempted to drop Hellsing.

 

This is the third anime I've almost been tempted to drop with Guilty Crown and Tytania.

 

Just heard the most subpar, dumb-ass, TEN MINUTE villain monologue in the history of monologues with the worst German accent in the world.

 

You'd think a show about Nazi Vampires going against the Catholic and Protestant Church which also has Vampires and stuff like ghouls and sh*t would be so fun and crazy you'd have no choice but to love it.

 

But nah.

 

This show runs on Alucard and Alucard alone.

 

Maybe it's cos I'm watching it alongside TK2010 and I just finished LOTGH.

 

When I thought of a good dub to watch I should've just rewatched Cowboy Bebop.

 

Now that's a good anime to watch after LOTGH.

I don't really know else to add. I think I based on discussions most of those on the list are pretty much what I expected.. so I can't really add much, I like PMMM also etc etc, I wasn't that into SSY, and I haven't seen a few of the others... maybe I'll try some at some point.

Now install FXIV and dance with cat girls with me!

Maybe after I've had my fill of Diablo 3 HC (or if my character dies...) I can give it a try! Right now I'm far too addicted to this game for my own good.

Do it like me, stick to the TFS Abrigded version. That however means you'll have to wait for Halloween each year to get the next episode, but they are sooooo worth it.
