Anyway...

 

Almost tempted to drop Hellsing.

 

This is the third anime I've almost been tempted to drop with Guilty Crown and Tytania.

 

Just heard the most subpar, dumb-ass, TEN MINUTE villain monologue in the history of monologues with the worst German accent in the world.

 

You'd think a show about Nazi Vampires going against the Catholic and Protestant Church which also has Vampires and stuff like ghouls and sh*t would be so fun and crazy you'd have no choice but to love it.

 

But nah.

 

This show runs on Alucard and Alucard alone.

 

Maybe it's cos I'm watching it alongside TK2010 and I just finished LOTGH.

 

When I thought of a good dub to watch I should've just rewatched Cowboy Bebop.

 

Now that's a good anime to watch after LOTGH.

Very belatedly little rumbling from me to say I'm still around. Took a trip back into gaming so I'm kind of switching off between binging Berserk and binging WoW. Still in the proper Golden Age arc. Not really spoilers but idle thoughts:

I know all this is setting the pace for the Eclipse, I just find it fascinating from a storytelling perspective in how the prologue is split between the "future" (or rather current timeline I suppose) and the past. Because I've spent so long only knowing what I assume is a small spoiler in the grand scheme of things regarding the Eclipse, I personally found it rather interesting to learn that SBG and Casca were already in their band together when they first met Guts. See, I always kind of figured they were three separate entities that would meet at one point or another, so it makes the main known spoiler (Casca's fate come the Eclipse) all the more... uncomfortable.

 

But yes I'll get back to reading soon I think. Amusingly enough, much like PMMM, when I'm not reading it (watching in the latter's case) I'm thinking about it. I'm still torn if I'm going to watch the series and movies after I catch up. Isi mentioned some stuff about the series that doesn't really sit well for me, even if I vaguely understand why they would cut certain things considering the length. I guess for now I kind of figure at least earlier attempts to adapt it, research might not have been done about the fact that it flits between cosmic horror, medieval fantasy and holy ****, this is fucked. One thing I will say though, the movies and series have amazing soundtracks. I'm always tempted to be a pest and music spam.

Yes the OST is amazing

The films are alright to take a look at but going from the manga to the TV series is certain to disappoint unfortunately (aside from the OST of course )

You also know the main thing stopping me from posting that song I sent you off the third OST being my strong allergic reaction to spoilers even vaguely giving me images around the Eclipse, even completely out of content. (AND NOBODY WANTS ANI'S ALLERGIES TO KILL HER, RIGHT?!  ) Speaking of which though, have you shown the group that safjpajfpojafoigahfwoiwaf Femto statue yet? *_*

 

But according to MAL, my not yet complete list (such a WIP from older series) is currently at 11.5 days not including rewatches and such. Can't seem to see easily the complete episode number list so I'll look for that later.
