I can't make a list. It's hard to narrow down frankly. Even harder for manga.

The thing with a show like Baccano! is that it's as much carried by its entire cast as it is by the soothing atmosphere that complements  its orchestral Depression-era-jazzy-tunes and Tarantino-inspired narrative. Tarantino has a knack for busting the most engaging exchanges of dialogue together, with the most mundane subject one could think of such as a piece of gum. Baccano adheres to that train of thought, where characters like Standfield and Ladd are build from the groundwork of seizeless monologuing with the most clever and inane turn of phrases possible. In other words, there were too many characters to choose from but Standfield, in particular, was an enigma in terms of his questionable moral compass that ranges between seemingly villainous and strangely self-less and heroic, not to mention his rather over-the-top approach to romance. He's interesting because of his enigmatic nature, in truth.

Happy to finally watched Azumanga Daioh after all this time. It was easy and charming enough to warrant a watch on top of the mostly amusing comedy.

Finished the iDOLM@STER movie.

I really enjoyed this series, and I'm really glad I watched it.

I won't recommend it like I do other shows.

But I did really like it.

The next series is about an entirely new cast of characters though. And it's not done. So I'll wait on that.
