Souls are easy enough to acquire. Plenty of people willing to part with theirs for 25 cents, or lending them a pen, etc.

You meet the occasional person that actually cares enough about their soul to refuse to part with it, but they're the minority.

Quick question BSN. Since I'm about to finish Area 88 I'm looking for one short anime and a long anime to watch. 

I'm thinking between Black Lagoon Roberta's Trail, FLCL, Time of Eve or 3 episodes of Kill la Kill. Or should I watch Nausicaa, Garden of Sinners or Eva rebuilds?

The long running anime i'll be watching will be between Yu Yu hakusho or a rewatch of Stand Alone Complex 2nd gig.

Number 10.

Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh!

 

Kaiba shows us what it means to be a true rival character. Being a giant a-hole 24/7. But he is also a great older brother. By being a giant a-hole to his brother 24/7.

 

He also shows us when at first you don't succeed.

 

Blast it again with your Blue-Eyes White Dragon!

 

And in the dub he has Brock's voice.

 

 

Number 9.

Brock from Pokémon.

 

The best older brother character in all of fiction. He always tries to help when sh!t goes down instead of drawing a picture of said sh!t going down like a certain Pokémon watcher a-hole we all know.

 

He also knows how to use his trusty frying pan as a drying pan.

 

And in the dub he has Seto Kaiba's voice.

 

 

Number 8.

Lupin the 3rd from Lupin the 3rd.

 

My favorite thief in fiction had to make this list. He also starred one of my favorite movies of all time. So yeah he had to make this list.

 

 

Number 7.

Killua from Hunter x Hunter.

 

Yeah I know.

 

He is not Pitou or Hisoka or Pariston. But Killua is actually my favorite HxH character. Interesting character, lots of nice character development and add in the fact he has a boys love relationship with Gon that is not really "Boys Love" but maybe it is? I don't know it's just really cute and cool.

 

Side from his sister. His family is really f**ked up tho.

 

 

Number 6.

Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece.

 

Takes no real sh!t from anyone and is a really good friend.

 

I mean that's pretty much the best way I can sum up why I like Luffy.

 

But hey he is a magic rubber pirate, that's why I live for fiction.

 

 

Number 5.

Hamtaro from Hamtaro.

 

He shows us all how to be Ham-Hams and have Ham-Ham adventures.

 

And he is such a cute character.

 

 

Number 4.

Yang Wen-li from Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

 

See Sim's spam for why but also because he really is a great character.

 

I would have put Guts here but I didn't want to kill Sim. Also because Yang really is a great character.

 

Sorry Guts.

 

 

Number 3.

Kurosawa from Saikyou Densetsu Kurosawa.

 

A very relatable character when it comes to life with depression and loneliness.

 

He makes top 3 not only because I really like the character.

 

But I want the rest of the thread to read this manga already damn it.

 

 

Number 2.

Nausicaä from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

 

My all time favorite comic book character of all time. And just one of my all time favorite characters in general.

 

A messiah figure, a really human character and just the perfect kind of character I really enjoy seeing.

 

There really is no character that can top her for me.

 

 

Number 1.

Daisuke Yamamoto/Kamen Rider Amazon from Kamen Rider Amazon.

 

There is no greater hero for justice than Amazon.

 

Friendship is his theme and he plays very well.

 

Even years later with another Rider that was all about dat friendship.

 

 

Very few people truly understand him.

 

Yet he will still save them like how any great hero would.

 

With violence.

 

 

That's what he will do to anyone who disagrees with his place in my top 10 list too.

 

So watch out!

 

Tho like all the great characters in fiction he is not without flaws.

 

He does not ride a motorcycle.

 

But other than that he is perfect in all ways.

 

Like his theme song.

 

 

Boy do I wish I was Amazon's friend!

 

With that I want to end this top 10 list of anime/manga characters.

 

 

 

 

 

So yeah that was my list.

If 13 episodes is short enough, you're going to watch Kino's Journey for the short one. Otherwise FLCL is worth giving a watch I guess.

For the long one you're going to watch Excel Saga. If you've already watched it, you're going to re-watch it but you're allowed to skip the boring episodes.
