No, we should talk about any good series. Not just One Piece.

My main deal has always been that. I like talking about good stuff and why it is good stuff. But I also like to make fun of bad stuff like Bleach, Naruto and other crap.

People do Log... ghtning. I tend to interject with what ever pops into my head. 

It just seems to be how my brain works. Trying to control the inner chaos has been problematic in the past.

It seems to be better to just let it flow.

And feel free to contribute rather than demand contributions if you are not liking the *flow* of the thread.

An open Log...ghtning is better than a closed one.

End of Evangelion makes lain look fully 100% sane, heck theres so much crazy crap and screaming in that anime I found myself screaming at one point.

The other the name escapes me atm, but theres this chick in it who used to be a singer, then turned into a porn star, in which this creepy stalker dude, does what creepy stalked dudes do, anyways someone tries to kill her, and in place of him who tries to save her it was her fat friend who at the end dresses up like her and dances with a knife trying to kill her.

Anyone here been catching shows airing in Japan right now? I've been following more or less pretty random stuff lately, but this season, it's been Chuunibyo and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

I thought Chuuni was going to be yet another "cute girls doing cute things" anime, but it's kinda grown on me. I caught myself D'awww'ing at episodes 8 and 9.


As for Jojo, well, I pity the fool who can't enjoy Jojo. That's like not being able to enjoy MANLINESS. I'm still amazed Araki gave the go-ahead to have the series start from the beginning, since he's always said the first two major arcs were just him trying to get his art up to snuff. I forsee problems getting it stateside, since part 2 contains ****s portrayed in a not entirely evil light. Not GOOD, but not entirely evil.

Huh. I did not know that was a restricted word. For the curious, it was the historical faction who controlled Germany before and during WWII.

Jojo is great.

Jojo, Hunter x Hunter, Psycho Pass and Jormungand S2 are the best shows on right now.

Well, if it gets better I'll give it a chance. Half of the time I was sitting there thinking "give me a reason to care or be interested" and the show never gave me that reason, but it seems I just need to be more patient.

Plus Lain's "bear suit" kept reminding me of Donnie Darko.

I kept thinking maybe Jake Gyllenhaal ended up there in an alternate timeline, an alternate universe...

Fun fact: The Lain writer is a Cthulhu mythos writer, so he tends to add Lovecraftian elements to his works.

He wanted more Lovecraftian elements in season 2 of Digimon... But Toei said no, that it was "too dark for kids". So yeah, season 2 sucked.

He had more power over season 3 tho.

For Digimon he only wrote one episode for season 2, and he was the main writier for season 3.

Haha, yeah. I knew that reminded me of something, I just couldn't put my finger on it. If the show offers a scene where her bunny suit asks her what the deal is with her human suit, it will be my favorite show hands down. It seemed to have sort of a matrixy feel to it. Is that what its like?

I am getting that vibe.
