and I couldn't handle the entourage of irritating characters like Misa any longer.

That got hard to sit through at times, but the ending more than made up for it in my eyes. 

 

The ending was so good and better than the manga's ending.

I find her badly written, especially in relations to how her clingyness towards a guy who wouldn't give her the time of day borders on the absurd. Bubblehead obliviousness can be endearing if there's some sort of ironic context to all of it, like Juliet Starling in Suda51's Lollipop Chainsaw; In Misa's case it just seems to be a weird infatuation with a bloke who made a particular wish of hers come true, and thus she declared her love for him just like that. It's a submissive relationship, the worst kind of relationship I'll add. In a lot ways, she strikes me as a character that feels very out of place for Death Note, I can't help but lose sight of things whenever she appears, as the tone takes a dive in a whole other direction. That's just the short version of why I loathe the character. But, you know, that's just me

Legend of the Galactic heroes - Episode 6. It's starting to get good. 

Yang is a kind and honest person and he has gone to capture the Isherlohn fortress. He has a plan to use one of the empire ships they recovered to infiltrate the fortress. I like the planning so far, next episode should have some action. 

 

I can see a reoccurring theme with the smart soldiers bringing up ideas, but the Admirals turning it down. The same thing that happened to Yang is happening to Oberstein.

 

BSN. Is it worth it to read Gantz? Someone recommended it to me and the art is great, but i heard that the story gets really bad and it's also pretty long. There are other shorter manga I could read.
