Really enjoyed how Yukio's arc ended. I felt that her story not having a happy ending was a hell of a lot more realistic and kinda what Rock needed. He could never have saved her, not truly. What he wanted for her was a fantasy, a way to reaffirm what he himself believed to be right. Unfortunately, that was all kind of shattered when Yukio committed suicide. The strongest moment for me was when Revy told him to close his eyes, so he wouldn't see her die. And with her death, Rock had to wake up from his naive fantasy, which Revy desperately wanted to protect.
Revy's character development was breathtaking in this arc. I really, really enjoyed how she wanted to push Rock back into the life that she could never have. She, in some respects, wanted to preserve that innocence, that moral center that he embodies. That's why she tried to get him to see his parents and why she told him to close his eyes.
