I almost feel like Bleach is underrated at this point. I mean I get it, it's impossible to watch really the whole thing and it'll never end properly, but there was some crazy stunning ideas and stuff all the same. It may even be preferable to Attack on Titan possibly... somehow... I don't know... maybe. Neither is in my top whatever, but out of all the big major drawn out battle anime things it's the only one that resonated. #ControversialOpinions.
There are things Bleach does well. The characters are memorable, the earlier parts of the series is decent and the fights can be pretty decent, and it has a fairly decent OST, also I think the idea of every character having a unique power/sword release/bankai is pretty cool. Where it fails in my books is they recycle the exact same plot points repeatedly which becomes especially noticeable later in the series and the pacing just becomes unbearable. Like I remember the exact moment the series just started to annoy me. It was when I was reading the manga and the Shinigami were fighting against the top 3 Espada and I'd get excited every week... and then nothing would happen. I started noticing that half a chapter would be spent just kind of introducing the chapter and then you'd get like 1 thing would start to happen and it'd be over. Like they waste the entire page panels on nothing happening like a character we've seen a million times reappearing after a few chapters or such and the more I noticed it the more it drove me crazy. Even Naruto which started to go downhill at least had the decency to have a decent amount of content per chapter. Anyways that's just my mini-rant on it.
She wasn't like crazy different, you knew what you were getting, but she was hi compact cute so..
She was cute, smart, nerdy, tsundre and too many other things a lot of anime watchers watching something like this typically like. As silly as it sounds it's almost as if she was far too likeable for me (I know that probably sounds stupid)
