Reinhard is now being more forceful and his plans are starting to be more against the FPA. He wants to plan a coup d'etat through a former FPA Admiral prisoner of war.

I'm super surprised that Yang automatically guessed that Reinhard was planning a coup and also putting in spies just from the exchange of POWs.

Yang's meeting with Kirchies shows how nice and considerate both are.

Yang congratulates Reinhard too much and thinks too highly of him even though that's his enemy.

Oberstein keeps trying to sway Reinhard from giving kirchies so much military power. I wonder what his end game would be if Kirchies has less power. It wouldn't necessarily give him more power than he has now since he's already an advisor.

It's easy to forget behind all the gushing for Revy that Black Lagoon is overflowing with great and memorable characters that all do get their chance to shine and it's up to the viewer to find their "favorites" kinda why I came to adore the twins and their arc or the fact that Balalaika is possibly too awesome to actually be human. Characters getting appropriate arcs like how Anima mention Roberta's arc giving off a Tarantino vibe do Black Lagoon so much good!

 

I really want to watch this show again and when I start rewatching shows BL will be one of the earliest

Balalaika is probably tied for my favorite character in the show, tied with Revy. Balalaika's a badass, but Revy just takes the cake for emotional and character development.
