Archer came into contact with every NP in the holy grail war. that includes a almost 50% of the blades Gil had in his vault(he can also project Exaclibur but it would kill him if he did which is why he won't do it and he can not project Ea because it's materiel are 100% alien to him) when he was Shirou, he also came into contact with ALOT of other noble phantasm and conceptual weapons when he became a "hero of justice" as he worked closely with the Church. He is also able to create his own weapons because of his UBW, and he has a crap load of unique tracing techniques that he has applied to all of his most powerful weapons. He also trained with Saber back during the war so his instincts have been sharped big time. You could in fact call him a modern Gil as he has collected over thousands of weapons and ideas, he however does not need to own them thanks to UBW and his unique form of projection. To give you some examples.

 

There's also his armor. Because he worked closely with the Church, Ciel gave him the holy shroud as a gift and the armor he wears is created from materiel that will be made in the future. That does add to his defenses and he has the Eyes of mind skill which in short is a very high danger avoidance ability that he gained because of the crap he went through during the grail war and his hero of justice days in his life.

 

Another key thing is his Origin is Sword. When it comes melee weapons, Archer and by extension Shirou can easily master it's concept and use(not that it makes him a master swordmans, more he can use weapons and project weapons with little training because that is what both of them are geared towards.

So he's like Constantines coat in some ways.

Been near so much magical stuff the thing just absorbed all that power via Magical Osmosis?

I've finished episode 5 of Date A Live II earlier today and I've come to suspect that (massive potential spoilers, maybe)

Reine Murasame might be the Phantom. She seems to be really good at covering things up and she seems to know how to manipulate people pretty well (as evidenced with the spirit that split in two and Shido). The thing that set up some red flags with me is how that robot (forgot its name) attacked her and Origami and what she said when Origami regained consciousness, she'd said that Origami had saved her and that the robot had powered down.

 

Her telling someone that they saved her is a rather odd statement when the control room of the ship caught fire thus causing all of the robots to power down, since that is the case then how could Origami have saved her? Sure, Origami could have took a blow meant for Reine, which could have knocked her unconscious, but Reine seems like she saw it and she's the sort of person that I could never imagine being caught off guard. You know who has the power to knock people unconscious? The Phantom, as was evidenced when Shido noticed it in the playback video from Season 1. Why would Reine lie? I believe it is because she destroyed that particular robot... with spirit powers. Perhaps the Phantom has the ability to power things down electrically, which is coincidentally how the robots and human consciousness are wired?

The last bit about human consciousness is a little bit inaccurate, but it's something close to that if I remember right. Anyway, that's how I think things are going to play out and it'll be interesting to learn the motivations of the character if my guess pans out to be true.   I'm really glad that I had the opportunity to knock out 3 episodes of Date A Live II today, I really missed it.

Because Reine is 0, and the Phantom has to be 6, like Tohka is 10 and Kurumi is 3

I can't much help on those recommendations as I haven't seen either series, but rest assured that your English is just fine. :3 Speaking of Sailor Moon. I really should catch up on the re-release myself (and finally watch Crystal, but shhh...)

Never watched Vampire Princess but I've been into the Fate franchise for a while err...

 

Not sure really. Obviously I'd say 'Fate/Zero' but if you're watching UBW you've probably watched that too.

 

In the most superficial way I'd say Mirai Nikki since they're both 'death matches' where only one can win.

 

But eh.

 

No where near as well written.

 

There's tons other other great anime I'd recommend... buuuut, I'm not sure if you'd want to watch 110 episodes or 265 episodes... so I'll go for the safer ones.

Since you're rewatching Sailor Moon I assume you'd like Magical Girl shows where PMMM just rocks the freaking house and is god tier.

I'm perfectly happy with this. I was actually assuming

that Reine was the first spirit because of her age in comparison to all of the other spirits I've seen so far, I didn't know that her name translated to 0, only one I knew was that Tohka is 10. When I believed that she was the Phantom and by extension the first spirit, I kind of assumed that she some how started it all by splitting up her power for some reason and was using Shido to gather them all back in one place so that she could gain them all back at once.

More watching and data gathering is required on my part, I look forward to discussing my findings with you

I just meant gathering data by watching the show and trying to draw conclusions from what I see. You warned me about the Light Novels having spoilery covers, I believe it was 10 and 11? I'm staying away from those until the show concludes, in fact I'm staying away from using Google images to find Date A Live pictures to post on this thread until after the movie comes out, because I don't want to be spoiled. 

 

I like being surprised and I have found Date A Live to be something much deeper in story than I had originally thought when I was selecting the anime to watch.

Episode 27. New season, animation and art is somehow worse than the last two episodes. WTF!

Reinhard is now the most powerful person in the Empire, looks like he's going to spend time reforming the empire than going to war.

Julian just had his first battle and he's a pretty good pilot.

New opening is better than the last.

Phezzan is plotting and they're going to help the Empire crush the Alliance since the alliance has gotten weaker. I think this isn't very smart since Reinhard will just rule over Phezzan.

Episode 25 & 26 actually looked good. The art was crisp and the animation was a bit fluid. Not sure why it dropped so much in the fist episode of the 2nd season.
