That's what I said! I could maybe see Merlin as Gluttony, particularly if she was sexual in excess, but Gowther as Lust just makes no sense.

The dub is VERY good, like... stupidly good. All class A voice actors ESPECIALLY Motoko.

And that's about the only good role Elizabeth McGlynn has done, she's good at singing with Troy Baker & Akira Yamaoka though.

If you downloaded via torrent I think you can easily find the remastered version.

 

It's far more available than the prequels.

I just checked kissanime, and it looks like the version I downloaded. It's from the same source. Episode 25 & 26 look much better than anything before it, it looks like the Overture movie.

 

Also, basically nothing happened in this chapter of Vinland Saga.

Errr... it's preference I'm talking about here.

 

The writing is undoubtedly solid and it gets even better for season 2.

 

But this is a matter of preference in the end.

 

Whereas FMAB is something almost anyone can enjoy regardless of taste (same goes for Black Lagoon) I don't see GITS being adored by everyone.

Well as far as I'm concerned, you can reverse GiTS and Black Lagoon in that last statement. Not that I think BL is bad, but it's nowhere near my favorites.

Each of their sins seems to be based on what they were convicted for to get the title of "criminal," eg Ban's "greed" is based on

stealing the fountain of youth even though he didn't, even though he does have a tendency to steal things.

So it's just as much based on the perception of whatever they did in the past as it is what they actually did, and we don't know what Gowther did.

Also, are you reading the manga?

I'm not going to touch the manga until I finish the anime. Also, what chapter should I start with? I heard that the anime skips some stuff, so I don't want to miss that.
