I don't consider it offensive at all.

For one, stereotypes exist for a reason...esopecially when used in comedy.

For another if a character talks using the tone/speech/mannerism of one group or another, how does that make it better or worse?

The manga is still being made but Togashi goes on hiatus... A LOT. They don't call it Hiatus x Hiatus for nothing.

The new show will still have a ton of episodes.

Good that Gon comes off that way to you. He is "dumb", idealistic and selfish to a crazy degree...

In other news, I kinda laughed when seeing Gohan change super saiyan for the first. He seemed so... somewhat... constipated I guess.

That's pretty common in the show. There will be a few times it'll come off as genuine anger as opposed to trying to force a large turd out of their intestines, but those are pretty few and far between IIRC.

My favorite moment in the entire Dragonball franchise is, I think, when Android 16 fought Cell, was defeated, gave guidance to Gohan, and when he was destroyed -- though it does pose a question on how one would define life, given 16's persona -- Gohan's rage was released.

All of that, all of it, was so ****ing badass.  

As was the bit where he was easily kicking the crap out of Cell. 16 is one of my favorite characters in the show.

My only gripe however is that in the midst of the awesomeness with the awesome music playing in the background.... it randomly cuts to Hercule and other pathetic people while playing derpy music.
