I prefer HFs story, but Hollows main story(not the awesome slice of life aka character interaction parts) is comparable to UBW.

 

The day parts though ala slice of life thoguh make the VN. Seeing Lancer and Archer fishing together and arguing, best.

Three new characters, side characters from Stay night get more development and screen time. Kotomine only shows up in a flashback.

 

Main characters like Casters master who didn't get alot of development in SN get it in Hollow ala you find out his past and why he truly is with Caster.

Simple, I found it to be a sequel that improved on every aspects, from story to sound. Still give story to HF, but other than that I prefer HA

I'm a complete sucker for tranquil fury sorts of characters. Usually becaues when they *do* finally act out proper, it's terrifying. So I'm pretty sure all I have to do is say: "I said KNEEL" and my point and adoration for Ms Balalaika is summed up.

 

Speaking of which, I'm back to working on Second Barrage. On Greenback Jane as I type this. I know I'll have the Roberta OVA and the manga to pick at once I'm done but I kind of thing it's going to be the same sort of situation as when KlK ended. There's going to be a void here in the fun series in progress part of my heart.

I agree that it did improve a lot but there are just too many amazing moments in UBW and HF. I do like HA but UBW and HF were really an unique experience.

Oh, I do love UBW and HF and I don't say it easily that I prefer HA, but as a VN I found that it offered "more".
