Saw it a while ago, was not impressed. Frieza pulled a Super Saiya-err, Super-Frieza I mean and got a gold paintjob.

 

But the DBZ movies have been pretty bad since forever, so I don't care much aside from looking forward to the TFS Abrigded version and Kaiser Neko mocking all the inconsistencies.

Exam arc > Heaven's Arena so far.

I have to disagree. Hunter exams were really weak and inconsequential later on in the series. At least Heaven's arena introduces nen that will be used later on.

 

Plus heaven's arena was fun to watch, hunter exams put me to sleep.

As for Exam vs Heaven's arc...

 

I guess I preferred the Exam arc since well... the Heaven's arc hasn't really given me any fights.

 

Gon and Killiua got up to 200 asap, fine, fair enough. It's not an underdog story so it's okay.

 

But I'd have thought that floor 200 would give them a real challenge.

 

Which it does.

 

But not really.

 

Still better than a seriously long training arc that does nothing.

Like that one arc where Naruto meets Tsunade and then this whole Orochimaru thing starts.

 

Orochimaru wants to get healed so looks for Tsunade and does a ton of stupid stuff.

 

Later on you find out that he could have just done a simple procedure in his own base to get healed.

 

Like wtf.

 

Heaven's arc is fine, I like it.

 

Just preferred hunter exam.

 

And I don't mind Leorio being useless.

 

He didn't do much in the Hunter exam but still managed to be my favourite xD

I mean that, Leorio doesn't even show up again until York New (for a little bit) and the ending of the show.

 

Oh, then most characters in hunter x hunter don't return in each arc. They introduce new one's every arc.
