I guess this conversation amuses me way too much cause when I originally started Gintama (which I will check my streaming site for better subtitles since CR failed my poor old eyes D:), I was going to poll around to see if the sub or dub was preferred. Guess this answers the question I never asked.

Speaking of unpopular opinions -- While writing more on Stein's Gate (still not done lol) I decided to watch the dub of that Kill La Kill thing and noticed Todd Mother-fing HaberKornFlakes was in it, along with Grant "Best Shinji" George, and I was sold. The localization efforts are actually quite good, on par with that of Michael Tatum's script for Stein's Gate.

Gintama, LOGH and One Piece are must watched subbed.

 

Black Lagoon has good ol' anime voice acting. Maybe the dub cast are better for that series, so you praise it.

 

Only ones I watch dubbed are Dragon Ball and Naruto.
