Young was fine in YYH, but really Ayres was a much better pick for Freeza when they dubbed Kai.

Kai was a good idea, but damn did they f**ked it up.

Well in 20 years they can try again I guess, but knowing Toei they will mess it up again.<_<

And they both suck as Gohan but I would say Colleen was better.

The dub of DBZ is a parody, Monster is a fantastic show (also epic props to David Sylvian) and that One Piece animating seemed pretty much perfect.

edit: as to horrible Engrish I'd vouch for the also painstakenly "fluent" (as is made extra clear in the show!) Revy.

Asuka's German was ghastly, so I won't even try to think of an example of other "German" voice-acting.

Kai is terrible, but I still prefer the FUNimation's dub.  I don't know why people always try to think one is "superior" to the other.  Akira for example, I prefer the original Japanese, where Princess Mononoke, I prefer the english dub.  It's all preference.

No one thinks The Big Green dub is good because it is horrible, it's funny but it is horrible.

As it stands, I would still say Dragon Ball is better in Japanese because the voice actors actually fit the characters. That and dubs like Funi's dub f**ked up the writing.

Funimation way back had no clue what they were doing with DBZ (they will tell you the same), and that is why we have Son Jesusku.
