Taking a break to watch Legend of Korra again. Not really a anime but, I enjoy it. I stopped at episode 72 of Gintama and will resume it again when I finish Book 4 of LoK.

Guys...I did a bad today...
I have a serious problem...
You know... I haven't started Roberta's OVA just yet but I've spent a chunk of today just kind of mulling over Yukio and Rock's conversations regarding being in the light, dark, or stuck in between in the twilight. I mean I love in general when the series touches on various philosophies but this one ended up hitting me a lot harder than I was expecting. For all I ramble about it being an easy watch (and it still is), season 2 gives an awful lot to think on.
I might write some more on it all as a whole after I finally tackle the last OVA but I just felt I'd sneak in and say I'm rather pleased that I am getting thinky thoughts from a series I originally got into to have a good time.
The whole 'stuck in between' thing is really a huge part of Rock's character and it's really great.
So that's why it kind of bothers me when peeps say "he sucks." I mean yeah... he does... in the "I can't shoot guns like Revy does" way.
But you gotta admit he has balls/reckless/stupid.
There is no chance in hell that I'd EVER talk to the head of the Russian Mafia like that 
He gets even better in Roberta's OVA anyway.
So much for "Rock doesn't develop"

It's so terrible hard to not say that you're the worst when this happens but for this time I'll give it a good try!

It's more like.. appropriate levels of antipathy with a tiny yet remaining sprinkels of "It could've maybe been worse"
Remove the war arc. Remove tentacles. Remove attempted rape. Have Kirito get captured instead and have Asuna, Sugua and all the underdeveloped characters from Aincrad save him. That fixes like most of the problems. Hell getting rid of Mary sue cutts down like 85% of the problems.
That sounds pretty good to me, at least I could consider saying sure when people ask if it's a show that they should watch.
