I finished the Los Angels BB Murder Cases spin-off novel from Death Note. Loved it. I started the L Change the WorLd novel and am very confused. I think it's like a What If? novel.

What J said. Basically from reading the chap imo the the circumstances of Neji's death,  his parting words, Hinata's declaration(probably a flawed trans.) and Naruto's acceptance of her seemed shotgunny to me. But i'll wait for a better trans before i harass some pairing tards i know.

Chapter 336 & 337 are left as kindergarten doodles with chunks of screentone just like they first appeared in the magazine.  

So much for "Togashi redraws everything for the volumes he isn't lazy you bunch of haters".

@The Naruto talk, Neji killed himself. I'd kill myself too if I was in this manga.

He ended his death speech talking about the freedom in choosing his own death. I now understand what he meant.

As for Hinata... I always did like her, and wanted the best for her. Shame this is what she got.

Personally through the whole chapter I expected Naruto to go "who are you, girl" at Hinata. He had the fitting expression anyway.

Not that any of this matters. Even Neji's death. The actual Hyuga Neji has died back at the end of part one after his impactful and spectacular battle that served as a conclusion to his character development. But due to the intricate interclan politics, his clan couldn't reveal to the village the head of the branch family has died. And so one of the numerous Hyuga cousins, Nicholas, had to assume late Neji's position both in the clan and his ninja team and has acted as him up until his unfortunate death from a splinter. Every Hyuga clansmen looking the same immensely helped him keep his cover and successfully fulfil his duty

Eight tails pushing his head into Ten tails mouth was kind of funny though.

I liked Hinata too but the writing seemed off to me, and poor Mace Windu.

Also i remember Kishimoto saying that he had planned for Neji, and Chouji to die during the Retrieval Arc but the editor had him change them to being severely injured instead.

Despite my criticisms of the series Killer Bee is my favorite character after Jiraiya. He cemented my liking for him with the flashback of him murking jonin level ninjas as a kid, and not being one shotted by Minato.

Plus T.Law clowned Caesar.(lol @ the Schwarzenegger level pun)

But due to the intricate interclan politics, his clan couldn't reveal to the village the heir of the family has died. And so one of the numerous Akimichi cousins, Chuck, had to assume late Chouji's position both in the clan and his ninja team. Every fat Akimichi person looking the same immensely helped him keep his cover and successfully fulfil his duty. Regrettably enough, Chuck is drug addict, and recently his mental state has deteriorated to the point where he, after a few highly unrealistic public statements, rushed into a suicidal attack. Thankfully a squad of medical ninja stopped him prematurely and he is soon to enter rehabilitation.
