One of my all time favorite scenes.
Fire Nation characters > ATLA main good guys
I mean, I love Sokka and all his goofiness and Toph in all her glory.
But nobody can beat Azula, Zuko and Iroh in terms of writing.
They made that show into what it is.

Yes
Very hawt.
Jubril is truly the best NGNL girl.
She even imitates my favorite Fate servant

WTF is with those eyes?

WTF is with those eyes?
They look odd because she's a different species. Quite simple really.

Pretty much, minus Katara. That girl is a one woman wrecking crew. Though, otherwise, I entirely agree.
Zuko and Azula's final fight brought tears to my eyes. The music alone was ear porn. I cared so much more about that fight than Ozai vs. Aang.

Two if my irl friends.
But like I said they have bad taste.
Geth said it had a few issues too. But I think he was talking mostly about the manga and how long it took.
Also might have been softening the blow a little just in case I did find it disappointing.
Don't want to sound cringy or anything
But this arc was f*cking beautiful
Too bad Togashi is lazy as hell because god knows what he can do when he puts his mind to it.
F*cks sake man. I haven't met an antagonist like King in a loooooong time.

I wish they did far more with Iroh. Especially in Korra, dude gets like a 5 minute appearance.Fire Nation characters > ATLA main good guys

The Fire Nation is so brilliantly portrayed. Especially Azula, Zuko, and Iroh.
To the point Legend of Korra never matched up to the same level for their villains.
God, I love Dragon Ball Z Abridged.
We need more Azula, Iroh and Zuko.. and the rest of the Fire Island
We need more flames!

I would argue that Zaheer came closest. Amon was good up until his reveal, Unalaq was...(my mind refuses to remember Book 2, minus Wan), and I'm still not sure what to think of Kuvira.

I'd say the same, Zaheer was the best one and after that I might put Kuvira but honestly the other 3 hardly left an impression

The scenes with Zuko and Iroh in their own tea shop remain my favorite.

Yes. One of the best fights I've seen in my time with anime/cartoons/whatever.
I didn't particularly care for Aang in any way really.
ATLA deserves a ton of praise for all its fights really. It doesn't bullsh*t around like some anime fights do and is always top-notch with animation and choreography.
Hmm... if I had to criticize anything about the arc, it would just be the ant designs in general pre-Royal Guard/Meruem. They're a little hard to take seriously.
Also, that moment in 131
Spoiler
Yeah I agree. HxH is up there with the best for some silly character designs. There's also that moment
Err... yeah, I really hated Gon in that moment in a good way, though I laughed a little cos sh*t did I expect him to go "tsk, yare yare. ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA"
Sure, once I get over my hormones atm I'll see some faults in it.
But that ending was just great and the only thing that ruined it was that f*cking cheery music in the preview for the next episode.

I haven't watched Korra yet :-(

Kuvira was good until they turned her into a psychopath. I miss morally gray militaristic Kuvira.

The show is definitely still worth a watch.

Zaheer was amazing. I actually sympathize with the guy, but in a world like that the strong would take control and you'd end up with another system of control. So it wasn't a very realistic goal.I would argue that Zaheer came closest. Lovely scene
Iroh was such a sensible and just kindhearted geezer that it was impossible to not like him. That and he was a badass at building muscles when required!

Yeah it's on the list.
Leaving it especially when I NEED a dub.
Think I'm gonna go for Log Horizon season 2 after HxH and maybe a few more sub shows until I need some good English voice acting.
Plus I can't wait to see Korra x Asami blossom.
'bout damn f*cking time.

Also Doomsday Giant was really lame.

As somebody who knows tons about nutrition and stuff Iroh's genes must have been Gorilla-standard to have been able to get into beastmode with bread and soup.

Man, Azula is based as hell!

Pretty much all the core characters in ATLA are great. I love them all! Aang, Katara, Iroh, Zuko, you name them!Pretty much, minus Katara. That girl is a one woman wrecking crew. Though, otherwise, I entirely agree.
