Think I'm gonna go for Log Horizon season 2 after HxH and maybe a few more sub shows until I need some good English voice acting.

 

Plus I can't wait to see Korra x Asami blossom.

It's good but it has a different feel to what season 1 had. I've definitely been enjoying it even more than the first season actually. Early episode pacing was quite poor though.

 

Also Doomsday Giant was really lame.

Yes. One of the best fights I've seen in my time with anime/cartoons/whatever.

 

I didn't particularly care for Aang in any way really.

 

ATLA deserves a ton of praise for all its fights really. It doesn't bullsh*t around like some anime fights do and is always top-notch with animation and choreography.

You are certainly in for a treat during Korra. The animation and fight scenes are just as good as ATLA. So good.

Started watching Gundam Origin. It's my first gundam but I'm getting positive reactions from it.
The animation is great and so is the soundtrack. The opening fight is one of the best I've seen for a mecha and for a show that is using CGI.
Coming from LOGH, a lot of characters have overblown personalities though, some of them keep yelling whenever they talk or surviving car bombs.
I'm a bit confused on the backstory about what happened to their planet and how the people got into this situation, but I'm guessing that the rest of the OVA will explain this

I'm pretty sure thats how most Avatar fans felt.

 

I still enjoyed LOK, but it wasn't anywhere near as good as ATLA.

I agree, but at the same time, I found myself still utterly enthralled with the world and how it was changing. Plus, I found that while ATLA certainly dealt with some heavy topics, Korra hit some very dark stuff for a cartoon. And the creators handled those things with grace.

Suicide, depression, disability, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

 

Seasons 3 and 4 were both amazing, in my opinion.

Exactly. I sincerely hope to see the next Avatar within the coming years. I think that they can do some amazing stuff with a modern day Earth Avatar. Praying for a boy again, though.
