Nope! I always watch the original series first (Naruto shippuden first 10 episodes was a misunderstanding). Just like Dragon Ball: Goku the kiddo.

If anything, the Avatar is gonna be almost obsolete in the face of modern technology. I really felt like that's where the world was headed with Korra. Even with the Avatar State, how the hell is an Avatar supposed to face down a nuke, or other such powerful technology?

But Brotherhood is just the one they did to follow the manga.

 

FMA did it for a while but caught up pretty quickly.

 

It's pretty standard for some anime.

 

Hence why One Piece and Naruto have lots of filler.

 

HxH has two animes. 1998 and 2011.

 

1998 does its own thing and 2011 is the one that follows the manga.

 

Akame ga Kill did this too, but Akame f*cked up big time.

 

Don't know about HxH but I know fans can be conflicted between FMA and FMAB.

 

So I guess both are good?

 

I still wonder when they are gonna do the DBZ kai thing. I mean Naruto finished so the anime team should have nothing better to do right?
