What's wrong with Bunny Drop?
1st season? Absolutely nothing.
2nd? Where the guy marries his adopted daughter? That's almost 30 years younger and that he raised?
Words like "sick", "dipraved", "wrong", "insane", "squick" come to mind.
Oh, also, I don't hate you. But mostly I just don't understand what you claim for "actual standards".
You do know what the word standards means, right?
To put it simple, people to whom almsot everything is great have very low standards.

(don't yell at me, I know it's not the whole episode.)
@Lotion, How about people who try to find something they enjoy in everything they watch? Do they have low standards? I don't think low standards are necessairly a bad thing, but this is coming from a guy who took some sick days from school to watch Bleach back N' da day.
Anyways, I finished Kids on the Slope and the ending kind of caught me off guard. They could've gotten to the point that they wanted to with the ending without doing it the way they did, but I suppose that's the way they wanted to do it. Now I'm watching Bakemonogatari. Gotta say I dig the art style. They're trying a few things that I really enjoy, so I'm gonna continue further with that series.
Though I must say, 30 Rock and Always Sunny in Philly are really cutting into my anime viewing schedule. XD

You mean enjoying something exactly because it's bad? The "So baad it's good" theory?
That works as long as one is concious of the actual quality.
I mean, I love "the Room"...and that must be the worst movie ever made.

I'm going to assume that that's not exactly what he meant. He's probably talking about people who aren't so critical (not a bad thing, imo) that they'll be able to find something enjoyable about a show. Whether it's good or bad is probably irrelevant.Lotion Soronnar wrote...

Do enlighten me, please. What are high standards? How to acquire them? You can't define it simply stating its opposite (or worse, the lack thereof).

This I have in common with ya.

Pretty much Reezy said.
FOR EXAMPLE: Even though the plot of Bleach sucks, I do like the character design. Thus, I continued watching it.

And I seem to have been mislead as to the anime starting this season. The previous link was of the *Spring* season. It is not yet Spring...
Here and here are some about this winter (some very few noteworthy ones. maybe).
I'll definitely be watching Senyuu. Cuticle Tantei Inaba seems interesting enough to check out.

Thankskilling is the worst movie I've ever seen. I thought it'd be like, bad in a funny way.

I mean, even the Human Centipede wasn't THAT bad... okay, it was really, really bad, but not in the same way as Thankskilling. Human Centipede is bad in the disgusting "I wish I'd never watched this" kinda way.

And then you have The Human Centipede 2, where you know they stopped trying to be "funny" disgusting nothingness and just became disgusting nothingness.

Though I hate to admit it, I think if I'd watch THC I'd be somewhat interested even (probably won't though, it's pretty stupid... and stuff).

I thought "no way it's that bad". So... I guess I watched it out of curiosity.

It might've been a joke, I really wouldn't know anything about things like that, but they handled it seriously. Or at least that's how I felt. I thought there was just a director with a really twisted sense of what's "scary".
Granted, that is kind of a scary thought, but I digress.

The director is just some stupid guy with a bad sense of humor, THC2 comes off more like what you are talking about it tho. It is more stupid and gross.
