I just read a review on Shin Sekai Yori that claimed the s/s relationships were a negative of the show...
Spoiler
As in that the reviewer thought it had a negative impact or that it was poorly portrayed?

Same sex relationships are only a negative if they are badly written same as any other romance.
April has always been one of the bestest of the best months
Yes hide your face. About time!
2 episodes on the same day would be fantastic.
Especially if they are 45 minute format again.
That would be neat. Of course as long as Ufotable feels the need for them. I could understand Episode 0 and 1, but 12 suffered a bit from this if you ask me.
What a great job dubbing is (non-stop work and income). Let's enlist ourselves for dubbing. Maybe they let me dub some old men, minor villains and talking animals like ravens in anime!

The former.

Are you talking about the voice acting part, or the translating part?
Because as someone who knows a couple people who do the translating thing, let me tell you it's a SH*T job. They can gush all they want about reading new stuff first, but when I heard about those work times, deadlines and the pay, you DON'T want to do that!
Don't know about the voice acting part, but considering most dubs are absolutely terribad, I reckon the work can't be much better.
Ufotable can easily do the alt scene and add a kiss scene for Rin and Shirou later, there's a crap ton of moments for it. slight VN spoilers
Three possible scenes for a kiss scene post alt scene.

The talking part. The translation part sucks. Even translating texts is so mind-exhausting.

YES. I SHIP IT SO HARD.
YES. I SHIP IT SO HARD.
One could say Rin and Shirou is the complete opposite of Shirou and Sakura. The roles are reversed as Rin is the dominate one in the relationship. She really cares about Shirou and worries that he will break down one day. It's why she decided to take him on a date like that, it could be seen as trying to "fix" the distorted lifestyle Shirou has lived, to give him a day where he could enjoy being pampered and having fun(until Robe-chan comes of course XD)
Rin and Shirou is best FSN couple.
Screw ShirouXSaber or ShirouXSakura

So just need an episode to catch up to LH
Binged this pretty quick, mostly cos it's really fun.
But it seems a sort of impossibility they'll wrap this up in 3 episodes.
So this means
1) Cliffhanger for season 3
2) Rushed ending.
Right now 1 is far more preferable, but will it even get a season 3?
Don't know how popular it is over in Japan.
It was popular enough to get two 24 ep seasons.

Oh sure.
But I have no idea how season 2 is doing and won't in a while.
Will wait to see how it's selling
@Bro - Kingdom
This is exactly what I wanted, however, I can't help but feel his agenda is half-empty. He explains how it is possible to unite via an economical monopoly, but then again, how is it possible to achieve that economical status with all the ifs and buts that come with it. I don't like it when people speak in absolutes without covering all the possibilities.
P.S
It's a pet-peeve but doesn't it annoy you when they use quotes for stuff like money? xD
Shirou and Rin are indeed a great couple, and one I truly ship. This is not simply because of me being a gigantic fangirl when it comes to stuff like this, but more that they are two well written individuals who share a believable and strong natured relationship.
It truly helps in the narrative that the show / VN doesn't revolve around the romance as a driving factor, but instead focuses on portraying Rin and Shirou respectively as fully realized characters, both in terms of their interaction with each other and their masters--their conversations are a constant clash of inherited philosophy and personal values (which is something that I love in the setting).
Truly, having both Tokiomi and Kiritsugu play a large role in defining Rin and Shirou helps in shaping them as individuals, since while they both share qualities that their parents had, they are still characters on their own right who are struggling to uphold their ideals in whatever manner they can. It is even more appealing that Rin and Shirou are a mirror representation of each other, since Shirou is basically a reflection of Rin's own feelings and beliefs unimpeded by her personal obligations and inherited identity as a magus. Kiritsugu put his role as a father before his role as a magus--due to him not being a conventional mage because he didn’t abide by the social customs and standards that noble and prestigious mage families uphold--which made him very protective over Shirou and I'd argue is one of the main reasons why Shirou is so obsessed with naive beliefs of heroes and justice. It is exactly the opposite to what Rin's own father did, and while Shirou is gentle and warm in nature, she in turn comes across as cold and brash. In this way, Rin's conflict with Shirou is a conflict with herself, and the way her priorities are complicated by his values make for some very natural character development.
Yup, can't wait to see how this develops further in season 2 ![]()
A cliffhanger ending is preferable to them trying to rush the ending and get everything that need to happen into 3 episodes which is highly unlikely to work. A third season, I hope we get one!

Yupp, while it's good he's getting fleshed out I doubt it's really possibly to delve into the details of what he propose should be done and it's a shame but something we kinda knew were never going to happen.
It's only one thing that's important anyways ![]()

Funny enough, Rin learned more from Kotomine then she did from her father. Nasu stated that had her father still been around she would have been vastly different in SN.
It's why Rin has no issues resorting to underhanded tactics and trickery in SN, that is Kotomines small influence. She was also taught some martial arts from him too

Yeah Chewin's a girl. Were you not aware? Rah is also a girl. Why do you think Sim get's along so well with her?
Double post
Is everyone on here a girl?
Am I a girl!?
