I also think you'd like Twelve Kingdoms. It's not a personal favorite of mine, but it is good, and has interesting yet tame (as in *not* out-there) fantasy to it. Politics and adventure and stuff.
Also, and moreso - Legend of Escaflowne. I'm surprised Soronnar didn't mention it.

Looks like a prequel.
She looks younger and cuter.
I hope she gets naked a lot.

I didn't?
I'm quite sure I did.
Also, I believe it's VISION of Escaflowne, not Legend.

@Legatus - I definatley wouldn't reccomend NGE. It's pointless philosophical drivel that goes nowhere.
But what to reccomend?
Legend of Galactic Heroes
5cm Per Second
Ergo Proxy
Monster
Planetes
Jin-Roh
I hear Paprika and Paranoia agent are good.
Kinda hard to classify something as "exclusively for adults"
Not too hard to look back a page to verify one's statement.
Anyway, yeah, Vision of Escaflowne. Damn those mishaps...

Thanks. I'll look into 'Twelve Kingdoms and 'Legend of Escaflowne' too.

But why in hell have they put a wig on no. 16 and called him "olivue", and one on Muten Roshi and called him Grand Kaio is beyond me.
edit: tho now that I've gotten to the matches, there's serious inconsistency going on, and lack of... many things.
Yet it's still plenty good. A change of pace for one thing.
Okay, now I'm done with the arc, and I did love the Goku vs Paikuhan.
Also, overall they've had really nice scenes with perfect compositions (and more than two colors!) after the Cell arc. I wonder if it's some new person at work there.
Now's for Gohan to start highschool. Yay

The thing that surprised me the most was how easy it was to read. Nowhere in any of the arcs did the story drag.
It was such a easy read I read all 218 chapters in one week, the last time I read a manga that fast was when I caught up on 500 chapters of One Piece in 2 weeks.

Sometime last year Takeuchi and Togashi together made a book for their children, Big Boonuu and Little Boonuu, and eventually published it. It's just a cute story for kids about two dick shaped slimes having good times.

I have no idea what the gif aims at, but I still find it funny for some reason.
