Like Clones said, movies are a lot more easygoing when it comes to the dark stuff in HF.

Not really. If it's a series(trilogy is a very popular rumor right now) then that's the best hope for HF to get a proper adaption. HF will not work on TV because too much would have to be censored, cut or changed.

 

I also doubt Ufotable will only do one movie, they won't maket he same mistake DEEN made and they showed with the GoS movies they have no intention of cutting out anything. HF has rape, extensive sexual content,  graphic violence and gore(worse then Zero) heavy mature themes, mast murder, domestic abuse ect. There's just no way that can work on TV.

Considering the praise Brotherhood gets, I doubt it. But we'll see. I had some issues with FMA myself, even though I enjoyed it.

Quickest way I could think of implementing a blow torch. When blowtorch comes to mind, I always think of a oxyacetalyne, but that could make things difficult given it is over 9000 degrees F before you even shoot oxygen into it. No matter where you point it, if there is any contact for a long enough period, he's crippled and possibly dead in seconds.
 
So he's probably thinking those cannister propane torches. That, just dump water over the area before the heat, they'll feel the heat, and the chances of full 2 degree burns is low.

FMA's ending was a load of old ******, the Homoculus doesn't quite have that same antagonizign edge they had in Brotherhood -- Trying to rationalize them as human beings with their own feelings was a futile effort, considering they are instruments created by a being of evil -- Brotherhood managed to portray something that felt authentic, in the shape of creatures that were born in the dark, but wanted the light, they were jealous but they were also comitted to their goals as opposed to in the original anime. Having the villain suddenly become misunderstood strikes me as contrived, not to mention the villain in FMA being irritating and not quite as engaging, if at all, as the Father.

What's funny is I found Wrath, Envy and Greed more human in Brotherhood then any of the Homoculus in FMA XD

In a lot of ways, FMA reminded me of a Square Enix game -- Contrived nonsense and irritating villains, plus an ending that strikes me as something one would have deviced from fanfiction or something.

 

I suppose I'm completely jaded when it comes to Full Metal Alchemist but from the way I see it. It pales in comparison to Brotherhood.
