I don't go anywhere apart from here. I've heard that pretty every other anime forum is freaking terrible either full of weeabos or elitists.

 

Like I'd love to talk to people about how awesome LOTGH is WITHOUT some scumbag sh*tting on everything else that's great too because it ain't LOTGH.

 

It's like those edgy douchebags who claim "I hate anime" and watch "anime that isn't for people who like anime."

 

I mean wtf, how far up your ass can your head get?

 

Have yet to see the final results of that but some people do manage to get very far up. Almost impressed!

I had to start watching Mushishi dubbed unfortunately, it got to the point that the subs were unreadable.

This thread is full of people who aren't like those kind of elitists.

 

That reminds me:

 

-Shingeki No Kyoujin is the best anime because it is the game of thrones of anime

-Fate StayNight is Fate Zero's retarted brother

-Real anime fans don't watch moeshit (meaning stuff like K-on)

-You gave x anime x score so your opinion is invalid

 

 

These are all just examples of things I've heard in those kind of places (or yt) that just make me facepalm. I'm sure I've seen more stupid stuff like that but I tend to try and forget about that.

 

Game of Thrones the anime?

 

Closest thing I've seen to Game of Thrones the anime is... nothing. Not even LOTGH because well... despite the intrigue it's far more... political?

And I know from House just how stupid F/Z fanboys can be. I love F/Z, but I love FS/N too.

Finished Psycho Pass 2, while I thought it was meh it did get me thinking on why Akane can keep her crime coefficient low all the time.

Yeah Code Geass, Steins Gate and Mira Nikki are shows that I see being hailed as the apex of anime in various sites...

EDIT: And this is my 666th post. I shall summon Satan asap!!

 

I consider Code Geass a guilty anime pleasure of mine.

 

The writing was ridiculous, but it had alot of entertainment value. It also has one of the best protagonists in anime tbh.

Uhh when I said Code Geass I really just did like a pull of the straw.

 

I don't think it's bad at all, R1 is easily an 8/10, though I get that when coming out of LOTGH it can be underwhelming since there ARE similarities (however slight they are.)

 

I must be the only person in the world who likes R2's ending xD

Well, with those two it was just okay.

No but I mentioned how cool Netero's power was, and used the phrase 'anime for people who don't like anime,' even if they weren't in the context of dismissing King/other anime.

Netero's power was awesome and that fight was awesome.

 

Red Army Shogun was batsh*t insane.

 

Mirai Nikki is fun as hell, but no where near god-tier.

 

HxH Ant Arc is godtier.

I guess Ghost in the Shell is there too as well as the movie Jin Roh and probably Cowboy Bebop.
