Nero and Mo-chan are not clones, they simply share a similar look. If they both had even remotely the same personality you would be 1% right.
Also creating characters that in fact ****** off the main Saber fans(alot of them despise Nero and mo-chan where people who don't care for Saber or are neutral like Mo-chan and Nero) also breaks your argument more then links.

I generally like the concept of Fate more than the Execution.
Since going on the Wiki and seeing the different Heroic Spirits was little disappointing.

I understand coming up with new characters is no easy feat. But even so.

Perhaps. But you also have to try and distill each of those legends into an actual character that has a story and has desires, which is not necessarily easy, from a writing perspective.
Hell, I'm just amazed that they have already delved into so many different pantheons and mythologies. I never expected to see Irish legends, for example, in anime, really.

There's a few things that annoy me other than Gen kicking Lovecraft in the face.
I'm still mad Elizabeth Bathory is a Gothlic Loli Vampire in the Lancer Class (I understand she switches to Berserker later, but that doesn't excuse the lancer thing. She might be Countess Dracula, but her and Vlad didn't have anything to do with each other) for example. (Because when I think of a lunatic old hag that murdered young women and literally bathed in their blood, my first thought is, Man, she could probably twirl a spear like Ray Park)
If you were gonna go that far away from the reality why even use Bathory to begin with?
