It's time for a quick review of K-On!!, A.K.A. K-On! season 2.

 

One of my biggest complaints from season 1 was the fact that the characters weren't explored enough, season 2 is able to rectify that because it is 26 episodes long (instead of the 12 that season 1 had) and is therefore able to spend time on the events that the creators want to cover and the characters. Back in season 1 my favorite character was Mio, however since season 2 was able to spend more time on the characters Mugi ended up quickly becoming my favorite because of her humorous antics. Yes, K-On!! was much more comedic than K-On!

 

I'm glad it was comedic too, it was a nice distraction from the impending sadness that was always marching forth, that sadness being High School graduation and the club not being able to be the same because of that. The ending (episode 24) was sad and moving, yet it also managed to contain a message of hope. The epilogue (episode 26) was uplifting and gave a glimpse at what could be

Just like with K-On!, K-On!! was about five girls having a good time, however unlike K-On! it was also about moving on. 

 

I'm hoping that there shall one day be a K-On!!! that is based off of the K-On! College manga. All that remains for me is the two hour K-On! film. I give K-On!! a 9 out of 10.

I can't be the only one who immediately thought of Dark Magician Girl when she transformed into her magical girl suit.

Safe ending which is just plain depressing. So close to success just ever so slightly missing it. I thought I was going to get the true ending first try for a second there. Then there is the Axe ending which I really really hope is the worst ending this game has to offer because that scared the **** out of me.

Anyhow, watched a couple of episodes of Log Horizon this weekend. Looks cool, though not feeling it right now. So gonna postpone it until now (probably watch it once S2 has finished so I can experience it all in one go) and jump into Brotherhood.

See, the Axe Ending will always hold a special place in my heart by how much it fucked with my head. X3 I did two blind playthroughs first, one being the Coffin ending (what luck), the other being Safe. So I used a guide to lead me to the rest of the bad endings and the Axe Ending stuck with me so much that I forced my coworker to watch it the next day at work, and I refused to shut up about it. X3
