Well...technically you are correct. Anime as a word describes anything that is animated.
However, the issue is with the common usage of words "anime" and "cartoon".
Cartoon is used to describe something as "for kids". I have never heard cartoon used to describe something for adults. In a few rare occasions when something animated was mentioend in that capacity, the phrase used was "animated movie"
Anime in common usage refers to animated things specifically from Japan.
So anime is cartoons as much as holywood movies are all Michael Bay action movies.

Yup! He regained them though since Illya had him rest for three days. But man... This just further nerfed Berserker even harder. Just goddamit Ufotable. Why do I have a feeling we are also going to get UBW Good ending just for more saber wanking? ;_;
I fail to see the problem.
Canonically, Berserker can be hurt by A-ranked or above attacks. Both attacks were A or above in the anime.
How is Berserker nerfed?
If anything, if he can restore both lives in just 3 days, then he's even stronger.

It's just a what if case and I don't think that they're seriously going to adapt the Good instead of the True but the artist at Type Moon (Takeuchi) probably the biggest Saber fanboy in the entire world.
This guy even put up a very angry tweet about how he was pissed that Ufotable isn't make an adaptation for the Fate route.

Sabers ending was fine in the True end anyways, better then the True end of Fate route imo. But tis modern Type-Moon, need dat Saber ****** since that's all Takeuchi cares about these days.
Sure, for the route itself.
I'm taking into consideration that Saber got a lot of attention in Zero and her character arc never really ended and never had a chance to grow from what she learnt. It's mostly for continuity reasons, and since you have to go through SN to even understand Saber and what she's about then there'll obviously be a problem if her arc ends as abruptly as the VN's.
I'm still in favour for True, but just add that little bit more so it can wrap up neatly. Even a 2 second flashback from Lancelot and an image of "The Hill" before she finally accepts is a major improvement.
Of course, no matter what you do sabaaaaa fanbois will be saaabbaaa fanbois and won't be happy until she's x, y and z.
But who cares about them.
