She tells SHirou to let Taiga die and constantly tried to engage Caster making the situation worse for Shirou and Taiga. Taiga almost dies too and that is why Shirou stops Saber as he saw her neck almost being snapped. The situation was simply far more intense in the VN then it was in ep12.
