Nah, it's up with the manga.
It's probably a case of FMA trying to lengthen stuff because it was catching up so fast.
How did you like the Funeral and "Big Brother?" In FMAB?
Sh*t, sorry dude. Missed your post completely.
The funeral scene was fine, though in my case it was exactly the same as in FMA, so no comment on that part. Though the incident with Hughes felt rather weak in comparison to the original--since in FMA he actually investigated in some form the scenario he was in while in Brotherhood he just looked at the map and "Aha!", and having Lust just appear out of nowhere wasn't as powerful, since in FMA she directly played a part in the scenario with Bradley's secretary (which Hughes suspected). Also that scene with him in the phone booth immediately calling out that Ross was a fake made me go "WTF!?", since in FMA he played a long and acted he was tricked so that he could get the upper hand (plus having Ross along prior to the incident made the act even more convincing).
So far FMA has been stronger, but what is interesting to point out that all this happens in episode 23-25 or something, while in Brotherhood it already happens in episode 10. I wouldn't be surprised if it were to turn out that FMA had a stronger focus on the earlier episodes before it diverged (I felt that the episodes after ep 30 started to get weaker as it went along), while Brotherhood in comparison shines with the upcoming ones.
