Bleep bloop. I still need to watch Bloody Fate.
It must be dubbed of course, especially cause western voice waifu (Grey) is perfect Jeanne.

Cal's mention of Bayonetta made me remember that they got all the actors to reprise their characters in the film -- Incidentally, this includes Grey DeLisle whom I wish did work for anime, although I assume it's because she's in a union along with the likes of Jennifer Hale, hence why they are never seen within the biz which is a shame.
Still need to own the Bayo-film too. The film is good to watch in order to get what is going on in the story, while the game is good for its incredibly fun gameplay.

Sword Art Online costs €123,92 on the site I'm looking where I buy my anime...and that's just S1.
As for Kill La Kill...€119,34.
Yeaaaaaaah...if I'll ever buy anime I'll make sure to wait a few years.
Amazon Canada only lists the French version of Kill la Kill and Sword Art Online.
I don't speak French and never had much of an opportunity or reason to learn it.
Not as expensive as I was dreading tbh.

More game than anime gushing: Blizz has been using Grey a lot lately for the past few WoW expansions, even in minor roles. I guess it makes me laugh cause my ears are trained to pick up both Jen and Grey almost off the bat (Laura Bailey too of course), so when I was running one of the instances introduced with WoW's newest expansion, I had to take a moment to asasfoaho when I picked up on Grey voicing one of the minor NPCs. Well technically between WoW and Diablo 3, all three ladies have been used a fair bit for VA work which makes me super happy.
But yes, the streaming site I usually use doesn't appear to have Bloody Fate dubbed, so I'll have to go hunting for it. It'll be worth it though. :3

That's strange. As far as I know, Troy Baker, Laura Bailey and Travis Willingham have been part of a union too even when they did anime work.
Yet they were allowed too?
Unless they did join later, which might then explain the reason why they all stopped doing anime work. But Crispin Freeman still does lots of anime, and I believe he's part of a union too. It seems much more profitable when you are part of one.

Union actors are expensive for anime dubbing companies, which are at best low-income businesses, and given the rise of notable newcomers in the voice acting world, it's hard to come by people like Hale or Grey in the anime world. David Lodge's salery demand, for instance, turned out to be too much to have him continue voicing Kenpachi in Bleach. The animation's finished, the licensing fees are probably negotiable when a show's broken even (unless it's a super hot property), and then you have the original dubbing model coming out of straight-to-video where it's hard enough keeping tapes under $30 a piece. In-house voice actors become key as they aren't that expensive, hence why Funimation have all the actors they need in the state of Texas. Laura Bailey worked for Funimation for a while, I think Troy did the same, ever since she's become a union actor too. There's a larger income to be had in regards to video game voice acting now. In retrospect, Kill La Kill is a good example of newcomers getting their voices heard and I'd say it's a good thing, I think the dub is great and the actors are great too. But you know.. still.

Ah that explains it!
And yeah, I agree for newcomers to get chances. There is much talent out there and they otherwise wouldn't really get a chance.

Voice acting isn't the most lucrative of careers.

Must explain why Troy Baker is investing so much in his music career atm.
Music is what got him into VA work somehow. Now that he got the fame, he can pretty much go back to that if its really succesful.

39 episode into Brotherhood and it has indeed gotten better and more interesting as it goes along.
Kimbley is ten times better than he was in FMA, and Marie Armstrong is definitely a cool character (which adds a nice twist to the Armstrong siblings--Louis is straightforward and uplifting in nature, though "offensive" when needed. Marie on the other hand is headstrong and harsh in appearance, values a more "defensive" approach but has a solid heart.)
I enjoyed the plot revelation behind the underground tunnels, worked well with what the show has already presented and added a nice "oh sh*t" twist to it. Sloth however was quite a disappointment on my part, since he seems to be nothing but a brute. I prefer Sloth in FMA (so far at least, the majority of Homunculi in FMA have been stronger, minus Bradley). Though I'm not in a position to make a fair judgement yet by any means.
Also, digging the tension between Winry and Edward. Stuff like this always makes me get all fuzzy, especially when it is between two characters I genuinely like.
Well I am enjoying Brotherhood quite immensely, and to put it in Roy Mustang's own words "Haha! This is a lot of fun!"
