*Sigh*
4 chapters in.
But I want to hold my tongue so I'm not constantly referred to as the worst again. Because I'm really hoping it gets better.
Well that's obligatory.
Like me being dumb.
As for the early chapters of Berserk.
They're amazing once you get the context.
So always keep them in the back of your head since it's foreshadowing everything.
Doesn't help that the translations are f*cking awful.

I have come to vastly prefer these Stands in Jojo over the hamon techniques in the previous seasons.

I just finished watching 'The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya' in addition to both series. I enjoyed them all, found them to be great, especially the movie. I'll do a write up of the anime and the movie, probably tomorrow, don't really feel like it right now.
I'm excited to find out about this: http://en.wikipedia....agato_Yuki-chan(not sure if it's a sequel or just an alternate universe, but it's happening this year). I'd definitely like a continuation and to
Spoiler.
*snip*
If the show had been an official third season made by the previous creators I'd watch it as ongoing but it not being that makes me very doubtful of how good it will be so I wont be picking it up this season.
I reeeeeeeeally would love a proper third season..

Finished Brotherhood and my God, was it brilliant! You guys weren't exaggerating when you said it is one of the most powerful climaxes in anime--because it sure is!
I could easily go and 'book' about FMA:B, but you guys are already aware how amazing this series is so there really is no need for it (besides, Chris already wrote a great post about it. Go read it if you haven't already).
I'm however gonna say that I loved the ending, because not only was it entertaining having everyone coming together and play a part in the stories conclusion, but that it truly correlated with the series central theme on the concept of "One is all, and all is one". People together stopping Father, Ed's answer to The Truth and ultimately the epilogue--which shows us that people complement each other in various ways, enrich us. The connection they have to each other; the bond between Ed and Al, the love Hohenheim has for his children and his wife, the trust between Riza and Mustang, the loyalty that Olivier and Ling feel for their people, and so much more. Moving forward together, and not struggling alone. Having friends and loved ones, and how it is portrayed through different avenues, is truly beautiful. This right here is what makes Brotherhood so darn special, and experiencing it as a viewer on how it is introduced, developed and finally concluded throughout the journey is so f*cking satisfying!
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is truly one of a kind and easily falls into my third favorite anime, right after LOGH and GitS.

I've watched it 5 times.
It's amazing the little details and hints you pick up.
Did you know you can see Izumi and her husband in Central when Winry gets off the train?
You can also see May Chang in one the train stations.
The early parts of the series doesn't adapt some parts of the manga, but canonically they are actually supposed to be there.
Also, where May does her little loli stuff and makes a silly mistake and goes back with Envy it makes far more sense in the manga since when she's introduced she actually helped that town beforehand.
IIRC it's the same Mining Town that Ed and Al helped in that dude's long-ass flashback.
Yeah, that's actually an arc in the manga.
There's also a few things in the early parts that aren't adapted, but nothing so major as to be detrimental to the plot.

Yeah, that segment made me get misty eyed. So damn powerful.
Also TEWR since you are here, you should check out Legend of the Galactic Heroes, if you haven't already. I'm quite certain it would be right up your alley of enjoyment.

I'll add it to my list!
If I might make a suggestion as well, check out Rurouni Kenshin. If you're familiar with the Meiji Era, this would be right up your alley (it's sort of an alternate universe take on how things might've progressed if some of the more notorious swordsmen of the time were still kicking post-revolution)
