Shirou is already famous for being a moron. Not like it can get much worse.

No, Shirou is socially awkward, not a moron. Ufotable might be portraying him as a moron but in UBW and HF route, he's not a moron at all. The guy is very smart, great at planning, using tactics and good under pressure.
You have said that UBW and HF Shirou is smart before. Well guess i'll find out soon.

The problem is trolls took it out of context and then everyone who did not read the VN gets the wrong impression of that whole quote. >.<
Considering that--from my point of view--Shirou has finally reached that state where he has to seriously "wake up" and realize the position he is in, so there basically isn't room for any unnecessary moronic / idealistic thoughts and actions to take, so if the show has him acting as such again... yeah saying that I will be disappointed is an understatement.
This was the problem I had with Fate Shirou--doing the same exact sh*t over and over again, never learning from it.
You have said that UBW and HF Shirou is smart before. Well guess i'll find out soon.
Oh yeah you have the VN don't you?
You'll see when you read the VN that UBW and HF Shirou >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Fate Shirou.
In more ways than one.

Not with this change lol. This change that loli just wrote makes him look like an idiot, in the VN how Shirou acted in that scene showed his intelligence, now it looks like Ufotable just said screw it, lets just have him rush in like a moron.
The worst part is this very action Ufotable is doing led to a bad end in the VN, just wtf Japan. I'm going on the boat with loli and hopping they are just trolling and this change is not there.

I plan on starting it as soon as i've finished Girasai. Well by starting it I mean go past the prolog scenes.

Bad endings becoming good endings is always unforgivable.

That sounds rather unusual to me--having a bad end turn into a good one. Then again, I heard that it happened with another anime, so not that it would be completely out of place.
Well whatever the case, don't know what it is about but going by House and Angel, hope as well this doesn't end up actually happening.
The problem is trolls took it out of context and then everyone who did not read the VN gets the wrong impression of that whole quote. >.<
Yedah, the quote does make sense in the context from the VN.

Honestly, there is only one moment in the UBW route after S1 where Shirou does something very dangerous again but it's done in a way that the scene actually adresses that.
At least I hope that the anime will deliver that scene well so that people will understand Shirou better.

Death Note is an awesome anime for about 25 episodes after that it's painfully average until a great ending. Pretty valuable anime to watch, taught me plenty on how important certain aspects are in a show
Also L is kinda the best
Totally
Like for real
Or this.
Yeah.
Totally this.
I'm super late to the party (thanks PoE >.>) but I'll once again repeat what I've said at least 3894981749125 times so far regarding Berserk's prologue: Give it til Guardians of Desire 4. If it doesn't click with you by then, there's a strong chance it never will but for my money that's when the series starts hinting that there's so much more to it than initial impressions.
Siiiiiiim: How are you enjoying Monster, my friend? It gets heavy, for sure as I've seen you comment on but I'm curious if it's pushing the right sorts of button with you. I'll probably pester you about it in PM when we're both mentally at a place for detailed conversation but there's definitely some points from the manga that I'm very curious if the anime includes or skips over.
Berserk clicked with me the moment the Golden Age arc begun. It's seriously the ASOIAF before ASOIAF ever begun.
As for Monster.
Well I'm not hooked onto it yet, and to be honest, I have no idea how they'll drag this out for another 65 episodes, but so far I'm loving the twist on the Frankenstein story.
The parallels are pretty obvious.
Shirou is already famous for being a moron. Not like it can get much worse.
The whole point of UBW and ESPECIALLY HF is Shirou growing into a fine-young-badass-pimp of a man.
As much as I love to make fun of him, I was very impressed in HF when the dude takes the initiative straight away.
It helps when you're told just what kind of man the foster Parent you've admired for years really was.
Alright, I'm gonna try my hand at writing some impressions of Jojo Season 2 ![]()
It was quite literally one heck of a ride. It all started in Japan where our favorite protagonist Joseph meets his daughter Holly, because apperantly her son is in trouble. The first interaction between Joseph and Jotaro made quite clear the type of character that he is. Tall, brooding and handsome.
According to the police he's possesed by some evil spirit, which in turn gets revealed as a Stand. A manifestation of one of the arcana's. The Star, in this case. It was quite amusing to see how apperantly both Joseph and his companion Adol are familiar with Stands and even have one of their own. Hamon seems all but forgotten.
Jotaro as a protagonist isn't what I would call the most interesting character ever. All he does is brood and dismisses any attention he gets because its so annoying for him. One could consider it a nice change from Joseph's eccentric personality, but I personally would disagree with that.
Quite soon we meet a character, Kakyoin. It soon gets revealed that he's mind controlled by none other than..... DIO. Well, totally didn't see that coming. No really, i had kind of forgotten about him.
Anyway, Kakyoin soon then joins the club because, Holly gets ill and no one can save her unless they defeat... DIO. It immidiately creates the plot and reason why our friends start off on a journey that takes them all over the world.
Along the way they meet another character: Jean Pierre Polnareff. He's french! Which ofcourse comes with the ocasional stereotype of wanting to flirt with alot of woman.
This is where the journey "officially" begins. As I said in the beginning, the journey is literally one heck of a ride. It all goes badly when the plane they are on gets attacked by the first Stand user. It afterwards doesn't get any beter because Dio apperantly hired every Stand user in the world to go out and kill them.
The Persona fan in me had to squee alot during these encounters, simply because each arcana gave me Persona flashbacks. My favorite encounter by far was Death.
Anyway after the end of a long journey with lots of hardships and some character development between Joseph and Jotaro, they finally made it to Egypt.
I think I can safely say that this season was even beter than the first.

I plan on starting it as soon as i've finished Girasai. Well by starting it I mean go past the prolog scenes.
No matter how the anime turns out I'll be curious to hear what you'll think of the VN.

Yeah, Stardust Crusaders is my favourite so far even though my favourite JoJo is Joseph.
That season and those episodes went by way too quickly.
This season is perfection too.
I can't wait for it to end so I can get into the manga asap.
Part 2,4 and 7 are the best, but part 3 and 6 have the best climaxes,

Can't wait to get to female JoJo
I hope she's cool.
Sim: Amusingly enough, that's exactly how I feel with the manga.
I just hit chapter 50 the other day and I still have no idea where they'll be going for the next 112 chapters. I admit I do have some worries of how long it's going to keep to the formula of
not big spoilers at all and you should at least know the latter character's point as well if the timing of the anime is the same as the manga:
I mean for me there's only so much they could do there to keep it interesting. I think the main thing that keeps those worries from dragging my enjoyment down is how well regarded both the manga and anime have been over the years.

If the show had been an official third season made by the previous creators I'd watch it as ongoing but it not being that makes me very doubtful of how good it will be so I wont be picking it up this season.
I reeeeeeeeally would love a proper third season..

Read a bit of the manga, and your trepidation is warranted. Without the supernatural element and with only a passing resemblance to any of their previous personalities, it's pretty generic and.. just bad.
The whole spin-off thing?
F*ck that.
Canon KyonxHaruhi or no show.
I gave up on the LNs once I learnt it still didn't sail.
Another LN is supposed to come up though.
Will buy the separate manga adaptations in the future since it's impossible to find scans after a certain chapter.
One moment I recall fondly was that they went up into the mountains to ski and got trapped in this dimension or whatever.
Apparently doppelgängers came up to them in their bath-time.
When Haruhi got out she was all blushing at Kyon.
Damn.

Reading LN just to witness a ship happening? How very superfluous of you, Sim.
*goes back to Spice & Wolf and Hyouka*

I wouldn't have minded alternate Yuki x Kyon theoretically... but I should have figured in execution she'd become terrible moeblob ****.
Joseph Joestar deserves more.
