I kinda want to watch Aldnoah just to see how awful it apparently gets.

 

I didn't feel it got awful. Just felt a bit too generic in a lot of ways. One thing that bugged me is one of the characters is apparently smart enough to pretty much take over an entire empire but stupid enough to not actually think about why he is doing so.

 

First it's: I just want to serve the princess blah blah (even though this is literally the exact opposite of what she wanted)

Then it's: If I don't do it someone else will so it might as well be me and I just want to create a new world blah blah

 

Honestly he reminds me of Sasuke from Naruto with how he wanted to destroy the village in that he'll just keep substituting new reasons in when he realizes how flimsy his old ones were. We all know the real reason was because: The plot demanded it.

I'd also recommend watching Young Justice as well. Fantastic show.
