Nanatsu no Taizai anime is done.

I'd say they did a pretty good job with it overall, but a few not-so-minor plot points got screwed, some of it to make the anime have a more standalone ending I'm sure. But they could still stay mostly on track if there's another season.

But I only said how well it was adapted, not how I feel about the manga itself. It's good-ish. All the elements are pretty much things you find in a lot of other shonen, but the characters are fun to watch at least. And the fights are pretty intense. Felt like they needed a few asspulls to get from where the anime ended to the next arc, but said arc is getting better. I was upset about the Hawk thing too, but Meliodas' sign is an Ouraboros, so maybe it'll feel ok in hindsight, like the hints about Elizabeth. I guess.

From your comment I still don't understand what Oberstein's problem is with how Reinhard rewards his generals. Does he dislike that certain generals are just better than others?

 

What foresight does Reinhard lack? If this is a spoiler then just ignore the question.

 

Well your usual LOTGH posts don't bring up anything I can discuss with, but this time it has.

 

Oberstein's problem is his isolation and lack of co-operation with the generals, though he sees this as a necessary element in the command structure all it's doing is sowing seeds of distrust amongst the admiralty, a trust built upon the countless efforts of Reinhard.

 

Though it's true that Reinhard showed favouritism to Kiriechies (to a fault) that is now a thing of the past. Kiricheis was his only true friend, and though he loves all of his subordinates, they are more valued people rather than friends.

 

Reinhard is a very lonely person

 

Perhaps it was too eager of me to say he lacks foresight. I think I was wrong in that part.

 

I won't go into it further since... well, spoilers.

Not really. Opened up with Morgan kicking so bandits asses.
Then stranding them in a car honking the horn a few times.
Also the finale is 90 minutes. Awesome.
